With sand still in my suitcase and my body still operating on island time, I can't help but feel lost on my Monday back at work. Thank you so much for providing this condo on such a beautiful stretch of beach. My heart is truly changed from this magical island. The condo was exactly what I was looking for in an escape and it perfectly suited my need to feel connected to island life...perfect sea breezes, palm trees, blue and green water, and a sense of contentment surpassing what I had hoped for. Again, I thank you. I will most definitely return!!

I'm not sure why there are so few reviews. Maybe those that know of this place want to keep it a secret??
If casual is your style, and you're looking for a place away from 7 mile beach, and close to Rum Point, then this is a great place at a reasonable price, steps from the beach.
It's roomy (we were a couple and there are 2 bedrooms), comfortable and very well stocked. Ken and Linda are easy to work with. We prepared all our meals at the Sea Lodge, as GC is expensive, especially for Canadians. The property was spotless on arrival and I presume well maintained, as we didn't find one thing that needed attention. The listing and photos are accurate.
We went to GC mainly for snorkeling. The snorkeling off the Sea Lodges is a bit far out from the shore. At first I was too nervous to go to the local reef, but one day we visited with others staying at the Sea Lodges. In a group of 8 I felt comfortable. We also snorkeled all over GC, experienced the sting rays (loads of fun). While snorkeling we saw stingrays, turtles, barracuda,, loads of fish and coral. I even saw a shark while on an excursion close to stingray sand bar. Other than snorkeling, we checked out the botanical gardens (fine but nothing fantastic), San Pedro House (interesting), Georgetown (nothing of interest, the museum was closed that day).
Had a great time at Dick and Dots. Wonderful ocean view with great swimming and snorkeling right out in front. The sound of the ocean and the fresh air breezes were so relaxing. The condo is very attractive and clean, has a well equipped kitchen, and lots of leisure supplies (snorkel gear, puzzles, books, games, etc.). I particularly enjoyed the large screened in porch and the incredible views of stars at night. There was such a great easy going, friendly atmosphere to the area.
We could not have found a better spot on earth for a “get away from it all” experience. Sea Lodge at Cayman Kai was better than the pictures showed. Sugary sand no more than 50 yards from our front door, calm waters to explore, and temperatures to warm the soul. The huge plus in our mind was that we were completely out of the madness of the Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach area and crowds. We were not inundated with the cruise ship crowds either. So we had the North Shore/Rum Point amenities to ourselves, restaurants were not crowded, Rum Point and its offerings were available without long lines and crowds. But, if you wanted the ritz & glitz and night-life, you could find it all within about 45 minutes, so while we were “in our own world” the rest of the world was available to us, if we wanted it. All in all, a great vacation and a place we will put on our own “must see & do” list for a future visit.
