Kahala Sunset is a luxury estate designed with unparalleled quality, located in the exclusive gated community of Lake Cliff on Lake Travis. This magnificent two-story home is fully furnished, sleeps 14, and offers stunning lake views from the back patio with a private pool and hot tub. A winding path leads down to a private boat dock. Wind-protected water North of the Pedernales River at mile marker 39, check out LCRA.org lake levels to check drought conditions and boat launches availability. Enjoy cool breezes under a large covered veranda off the Great Room or take in the multitude of stars at night sitting around a stone fire pit on the cliff’s edge. Every room in this sensational get-away has captivating views of Lake Travis or the surrounding yard & golf course. Additionally, you and your guests have access to Golf, Tennis and Fitness Gym at Lakecliff Golf and Tennis Club.
Insurance, Safety and Security: For insurance, safety and your security, four exterior mounted cameras have been installed and are viewable from Elan VIA wall viewing panels inside the house. The cameras are mounted as follows:
1) Front right corner of house – provides view of front driveway & garage doors.
2) Front left corner of house - provides view of front yard & street entrance.
3) Back right corner of house - provides view of fire pit & golf cart turn-around at lake & boat dock.
4) Inside garage on ceiling - provides view of small back door and golf cart garage door.

Each quarter I organize a retreat for a group of business owners in our early 30s. We go to a new place, stay together in a house, find fun local experiences, and talk about our businesses.
Our stay here was one of the smoothest we've experienced. Every single detail has been thought about and addressed by the owners. Every question we had was met with a timely answer - and a better answer than we were expecting!
The property manager proactively reached out with a bunch of information we were looking for -- recommended chefs, local restaurants, activities, etc. that made our planning so much easier.

This was our second visit to this beautiful home. From the minute we entered the house, complete with a Christmas tree and holiday decorations, We knew we made a wonderful choice. Our family last visited this house in 2012 and we weren't disappointed. Everything was perfection! Our Property Mgr, Dolly was there to greet us, go over everything the house had to offer, answer any further questions we had and kept in touch with us during our visit. Dolly's interest to our needs and everything the house has to offer were a plus.The one small downside, grocery stores are 30 minutes away.
This was a 50th Birthday weekend. The house could not have been more perfect. It had everything we needed....wonderful kitchens, indoor and out. We used both. Cannot wait to stay again.
The house was very spacious, yet felt really homey and comfortable. The amenities were bountiful and made our family reunion a blast! Would definitely recommend and visit again!

This was our first time on Lake Travis and we stayed with two other families (6 adults and 8 kids). The house was amazing from when we first opened the door and found the fireplaces lit and great music playing. The kitchen had everything imaginable and the rooms went well beyond what you would get, even in a nicer hotel. The lake was very low but we still had no trouble renting a pontoon boat and jet ski; making use of the private dock. The weather for us was perfect, but with rain I think we still would have had a great time because of the very large covered patio, heated pool, and media room. We have not found another place like this (of similar size) in Texas.
Lakecliff is a private gated community located midway on the cliffs edge of Lake Travis, a 65 mile long lake. The lake levels may be low with current drought conditions. Go to LCRA.org to check lake level status and possible boat launches availability.

The location on the south shore of Lake Travis permits immediate access to many Texas Hill Country water sports and day trips to Marble Falls, Fredericksburg or downtown Austin’s famous night life and live music. Enjoy shopping and dining at the new one-million square foot Galleria, just 14 miles south on Hwy 71.
The Spicewood Airport, designated 88R, is convenient for private pilots located just 3 miles N of Lakecliff. Local services include: aviation fuel, aircraft parking, hangers, aircraft rental, aircraft maintenance, and courtesy transportation.
