This comfortable and relaxing two bedroom, two bath condo with HIGH-SPEED WiFi INTERNET is ideally situated just a block from the beautiful gulf beaches or from the Laguna Madre bay with popular nightlife, entertainment, and some of the best dining on the island.

Our recently remodeled condo comes with a full kitchen including microwave and a blender for your tropical margaritas. The kitchen includes everything you'd expect for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer. Our unit has wood-look vinyl plank floors and all furnishing are contemporary, including a large smoke-colored leather couch big enough to sleep on; but also contains a Queen-Size Hide-a-Bed. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, dresser and 32' Flat-Screen HDTV, while the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a huge walk-in closet. Living room has a 47' FLAT-SCREEN HDTV and a DVD player. A stereo with CD player and mp3 player input is situated under the counter at the kitchen bar . The high-speed WiFi Internet connection has WPA2 Personal security. Password provided at check-in. Ethernet cable is also available in the condo.

Location, Location, LOCATION: This relaxing two bedroom, two bath condo is our 'Winter Home' and we have it furnished with everything for our comfortable 5-month stay. It is ideally situated between the beautiful gulf beaches and the Laguna Madre Bay within easy walking distance of entertainment and dining. It has a private balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or favorite beverage while relaxing in the island breezes. You can see a bit of the bay by day, breathtaking sunsets at night, and a spectacular view of the entertainment district and summer fireworks at night.

While some of the best beach access, entertainment and dining is withing walking distance, two parking spots means you never have to worry about beach parking. You can easily walk to the beach and back to the condo for a snack, lunch, or a dip in the heated pool as often as you want. When the sun sets, it is again only a short walk to the bay to view spectacular sunsets. SORRY, NO PETS and NO SMOKING IN THE CONDO!

We purchased this unit in 2006 for winter retirement in another year. We made it available for rent when we are not using it through a property manager. In 2007 we are handling the rentals ourselves. We have a guest book in the condo unit and have received nothing but positive comments from guests that have stayed there with several indicating that they plan to return. We're not able to list the guest comments individually because the book is in the condo and we are in Wisconsin. We are sure this unit will exceed your expectations! Andy and Anita Vissers

Well equipped kitchen and we really liked the "home" feel of the place, not like the commercial concrete and steel tower condos. It is an excellent location; only a short walk to the beach but far enough from the noise of the main roads. Don't know the reason for fireworks Friday night, but we had a great view of it from the balcony...

Beautifully and efficient designed "Happy place" for home away from home vacation

Anita and Andy created a warm and welcoming space, located 5 min walk from the beach, grocery store few blocks away, and walking distance to bars and restaurants. The firework show (on Thu & Fri) could be watched from the porch - wonderful treat. The covered parking lot was essential in the heat, and even though we did not use the pool, it looked very clean and appealing. The apartment was divided to a very well equipped kitchen, (Pots, pans, nice dinning plates & mugs, oven, micro, toaster, blander... and all the tools needed for cooking and baking, from utensils to coconut oil...), 2 bedrooms - master with comfortable and beautiful king bed, and extra room with queen bed. Both rooms had clean and happy colors painted bathrooms, which were needed for our party of 5. There was a walking closet in the extra room, with ironing board, open cabinets, and hangers ready for use. each room had dressers for storage, and in the master there were also spaces for hanging, and shelves. The living room L shaped sofa was very comfortable, and it easily opened to a queen bed, used by one of our teens. (2 other teens shared the extra bedroom). All bedding's were clean&soft. The dining table was used daily for breakfast and lunch, as well as the dishwasher. The washer and drier worked well 3 times!! (owners provided 5 big soft towels, and we showered frequently due to heat and visit to the beach, so I had to wash them in addition to clothe). We needed 5 blankets, and had only 3, and Ms. Sandy, the condo manager who provided us the keys, was kind and helpful and brought us 2 more on the following day. Andy and Anita informed us clearly all the technical procedures prior to the arrival, and all was written in an organized folder in the apartment. It was the attention to the small details that made us feel at home: from the nice painted walls, ocean team decorative pictures and items, supply of dishwasher and dish soap, trash bags, snack sip lock bags, to the little drawer in the kitchen with clips to hermetic close of snack bags, and permanent marker with notepad. It was perfect to seat together and watch the US basketball dream team play in the Olympics. We felt at home away from home, thanks to Andy and Anita that shared their happy place with us.

Family vacation/ reunion

We rented the apt. /condo for one week . The owners were very helpful through our first time ever renting a apt./condo online. It was a very easy process . The condo was very clean. They had a welcome book filled with great information on places to go and eat or activities to do on the island ,even the instruction Manuals on how to use the appliance in the condo. The whole building was very quiet, the pool was clean . The condo was very roomy for the 6 of us and is equipt with everything you need in the kitchen to cook with. We would definety rent the apt/ condo again. We had a blast on the island .
