The comfortable, spacious and bright living/dining room has 2 sofas, a T.V and DVD player, coffee table and dining table and chairs. There is a selection of games and books. WiFi is available. There are 2 double bedrooms, each with hanging space and a chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have views over the hills and open countryside.One bedroom has a large en-suite shower room which also contains the washing machine while the other has its own adjacent bathroom with both bath and separate shower. There is a separate w.c.
All bed linen and towels are provided and are included in the rental cost.
Outside the property there is private parking for guests.
Guests have exclusive use of the owners' pool (6 m x 3 m) .There is a range of chairs, sun loungers and a parasol round the pool.
Guests can also relax and enjoy a glass of wine or meals on the sunny and private south facing terrace.
Both the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees can be reached within a 1 hour drive. This is a perfect location for walking or bike riding. The shady banks of the Canal du Midi are 15 minutes walk from the apartment. There are many marked walks of varying length and difficulty within easy access. There are walking maps and leaflets in the apartment.
Guests can explore and discover the fascinating heritage of the Cathars whose story remains in their ruined fortresses.
Carcassonne has much to offer with 'La Cite' to explore and the Festival with a range of music to suit all tastes during the month of July. It has a wide range of restaurants and shops. There is also a large swimming lake - Carcassonne Plage - with a range of water activities. It is situated in lovely countryside which is easily accessible (20 minutes) from the property.
The property is 15 minutes drive from Carcassonne airport and 60 minutes drive from Toulouse airport.
