Fantastic 2 Bedroom Flat, Free Wifi/TV. Central Castle Location At Chain Bridge
Attractive and recently refurbished 2 bedroom apartment (81sqm) in the leafy castle district. This flat is very centrally located, right behind the Castle and literally 2 minutes walking distance from the spectacular Castlehill panoramic views. Its close proximity to the famous Chain Bridge makes it an excellent base for visiting all the main tourist sites of Budapest.
The apartment comprises a large, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, spacious and bright living room with CABLE TV & DVD, FREE WIFI, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and a separate toilet. Further single bed in the living room. The apartment is positioned on the ground floor of a quiet residential building. Gas central heating.
The flat is located on the ground floor and there is a lovely space to sit directly outside the flat in our leafy garden just under the Castle.
Guests will be provided with plenty of towels, fresh bed linen, a hair drier, a fully equipped kitchen, free WIFI and cable TV and a DVD player. There is also a CD player if you would like some background music.
The apartment is very central for Buda and Pest and you can walk to the main tourist attractions. There are bus links (the 105 bus leaves every 10 mins from Alagut just outside the flat and takes you over the Chain Bridge to Deak ter), and a metro close by too at Déli pályaudvar.

About Diane Goudie
I run an event's organisation in Glasgow and fell in love with Budapest 11 years ago. My brother and I bought this apartment then and have enjoyed going there on holiday ever since. I am very easy to contact via phone or email and have a great agent who will meet you at the flat on your arrival. My neighbours are also extremely helpful

Great flat, great location!
Logodi Ut 9 is a terrific location - just downhill from the Castle and very convenient to public transportation. The flat itself is neat, no frills (thought he kitchen is well-equipped - didn't use it much other than the fridge, electric kettle and toaster), clean and comfortable. It was just right for my son and I to use as a 'home base' for our daily explorations of the city. It's within walking distance of some great restaurants and pubs, away from the touristy hubbub of the Pest side and though very close to the Castle district itself, in a quiet residential street. Stay here for a feel for the real Budapest.
Fabulous apartment Great neighborhood outside the tourist area. So glad we chose this place. Large, comfortable and very clean. The beds were super comfy. Made our visit spectacular!
great place in Buda
Diana's home is convenient to public transportation and a lovely place to stay while visiting the city. We loved being there.
Family weekend away in a quiet Buda neighborhood
As a family of 4, we enjoyed the quiet, more relaxed Buda-side of Budapest. The photos accurately depict this apartment - it is very European with an open floor plan and large windows. The two European full-sized beds worked for three of us and our son slept on the small bed made up in the living room (wouldn't recommend this small bed for an adult).
Plenty of towels were provided and Diane let us know which sheets/towels to bring with us to the Baths so we didn't have to rent them at the the Baths. Diane and the property manager, Laszlo, were both very responsive before and during our stay.
We only ate breakfast at the flat but it seemed to have everything one would need to cook meals.
It is easy to take public transportation from the airport to the flat (bus to metro then a 10-15 min walk). From the flat you can take a street car (56A) south to the Gellert and Rudacs Baths, you can walk into town (through the tunnel or over castle hill) or you can grab a bus. From airport to flat, it is about 60 minutes. (From flat to airport by taxi was about 25-30 minutes and cost 7500 Forint - it will cost more during rush hour.)
"Prima" grocery is a 5-minute walk down the hill toward the public transportation. Plenty of good, neighborhood dining options and there is a playground in the big park within walking distance. We walked almost everywhere and loved the neighborhood feel of the Buda side of the Danube. We enjoyed the sights in Pest but appreciated the quiet at night.
This flat is in an older building - the lobby is under prolonged maintenance and the entrance to the flat is off a small corridor in the back. We did not sit outside on the terrace at all - it is more of a functional terrace with neighbors hanging their laundry and kids playing with toys. This was all fine for us but not really a place to sit and relax. We did keep the doors and windows open and there was a lovely cross-breeze to cool the flat down. The front of the building is up from street level and has rolladens to use at night to cut down on light. The street is a dead-end street so there wasn't any thru-traffic or trucks. Very quiet.
Lovely visit and would definitely stay in Diane's flat again if we return to Budapest.
Just perfect . . .
The condo was a great place to stay, and we highly recommend it. The location provides walkable distance to most of the popular areas in the city core on both sides of the river. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, charming. All of the amenities in the condo are functional, comfortable, the unit was clean and left nothing to be desired. Diana was so responsive to our communications and made the transaction easy and understandable. If we ever return to Budapest, we will stay here again, we loved it.
Thanks for taking the time to write me such a lovely review. I do really appreciate it.
Thanks also for renting my apartment and for being such great guests. I would be very happy to have you as guests again.
All the best, Diane
Enjoyed our stay
We booked this apartment for 3 months, Fall 2016. We chose it because of location and loved it. Was a real neighborhood, not touristy. We had a church, restaurants, post office, grocery, bakeries, produce stores all just steps away. And the proximity to public transportation was great. Or, we just walked. Was quiet, except for a few very early morning conversations under the windows! The owner was easy to work with and very responsive.
Logodi utca is very centrally located just 5 mins walk from all the restaurants at the Castle and also just a short walk over the Chain Bridge to Vaci Utca and the Basillica and all that Pest has to offer.
