Quiet house on a little island
We did a one night stop and enjoyed the tranquility. The one issue was the electricity was tempermental in the one bedroom (wouldn't turn on then came on in the middle of the night on its own, waking us up) and wired strangely in the living room, but otherwise lovely.
We enjoyed our stay at Spruce Head. The house was very nice and comfortable for our family of 5. It's also very close to McLoon's Lobster shack which is amazing. We would stay there again if we visit the area in the future.
Comfortable as Home
The house had plenty of room for our three couples. Beds were very good. The kitchen had everything you would need and more. The location was good to explore the Maine coast. Lots of helpful information on site seeing, restaurants, and local stores. We loved being able to walk to McLoon’s for lobstah!
Awesome amenities and comfortable house. First floor living is great. Half bath was great. Internet service was great. Karen was very attentive. Quite place to relax.
We had a lovely time and our hosts were very responsive. Fluffy pillows and towels, plus comfy beds - my favorite!
Quite and lovely home.
We loved the home, had all the comforts and soooo much better than hotels. It was a little more remote than what we desired, only because we hail from very remote areas. As it was October the local places to eat were closed for the season, which I was disappointed in but you were not far from some great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we were to be in that area. Highly recommend Karen as she is very accommodating and provides you with plenty of information for the area.
