Wonderful house- very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great place to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet and all that Spruce Head Island has to offer. Owners were very helpful with any questions we had and making sure we were all set. The fireplace with a good supply of wood was a nice feature during our November visit.
Cozy home—stocked with everything!
There were 4 of us ( 2 couples). The house is very comfortable & the host is so nice! Karen sent us all kinds of info about the area before we arrived. The only issue is that you should be aware that there is one full bath downstairs & one upstairs. So if you are 2 couples, one set will be running upstairs to get ready etc (such a minor thing)). Also, we arrived mid-October & so many restaurants & businesses were closed for the season. But—it is beautiful & a great choice if you are considering this rental.
Brian and Karen have fixed up the most delightful bolthole with a wonderfully furnished house and delightful position. What's wrong with walking down a hill to the best Lobster Rolls Maine has to offer. !!! As a chef who enjoys cooking on holidays, the kitchen was completely outfitted. I took my own utensils but left them in the box after the first meal. We've reserved again for 2019 so that says a lot. Now we're off to the Betty Ford Clinic for a treatment. Mainers really know how to put away the wine!!
Awesome Island home!
Came to this area for a wedding and found this listing a short drive away. From the moment we started planning, I just knew we made the right choice. Karen made contact with us about arrival plans - and even sent us information regarding favorite places to eat and things to do. VALUABLE information! We ate at a lobster place right down the hill- freshest ever!!!!!! And the next morning ventured to her recommendation for a great breakfast...both were amazing! She even left our family a little "treat"- which was a welcome addition. The house was perfect for my husband and I, and our three adult children/spouses. It was clean, the yard was relaxing and the house is just a short drive from all the area attractions. Looking forward to coming back!
wonderful time an we lucked out with beautiful weather also.
My 3 cousins and myself really enjoyed our time here. We had lots of room to move around. Thank you; Karen
Great to be back in Maine
Our extended family enjoyed our stay at Crest House. This is a comfortable home with a well equipped kitchen and ample bathrooms for a larger group.
The children played badminton and catch in the large outdoor space. The dogs loved their walks down to the lobster pier nearby.
Rockland and Thomaston are close for shopping and restaurants.
All in all a lovely home in beautiful Maine.
