Nice get away from the business of Las Vegas. Beautiful view of Lake Las Vegas from the balcony. You can access hundreds of miles of bike trails from here. Had a problem with the garbage disposal and it was taken care of immediately. Victor and the condos staff were very courteous. Would definitely stay there again.
Walked in to a very clean comfortable place!
We were a bit disappointed in the description of the property as being a "condo" - it was more of an upscale hotel room and as such, we felt the rate was overly expensive. We were locked out of our "room" the second day after arriving due to the carelessness of the staff. When we contacted the owner he stated that this was not his problem - not very professional when it was his property and when staff personnel were informed, they said "No. This is the problem of the owner if it should happen again." We were also informed by the owner that we were not to utilize the garage, but the staff said we could. Thankfully we did not park in the garage because we would not have been able to get our vehicle out of the garage due to the incident with the room key. Fortunately, we were locked out of our room during the course of the day; however, had we run into this problem later that day, we would have been in a real mess since we were there to attend a wedding! The pool was very nice as well as the adjoining area where there were a few restaurants and the outside grounds were very clean, but I am not sure we would go through this person again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful condo. The view is spectacular from sunrise to the dark of night, and there's always activity on the lake. A short walk across the covered bridge leads you to the village where there's a wonderful new market with everything you need including great wines, beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables. Also in the village are several very good restaurants, all with patio dining, galleries and shops and free concerts on the lake every Saturday night through October. This is truly an oasis in the desert - close to "the strip", but a world away.
The condo was very well appointed and everything was clean and comfortable, the bathroom very spacious, the corner bedroom, with windows on two sides is very roomy as well.
The owner was very accessible and accommodating.
I would certainly rent this condo again, and highly recommend it to others.
We had a nice, comfotable and fun 4 night stay at the condo. Quick and thorough action from Victor and Claudia to clean our room which had not been cleaned from previous visitor when we checked in was much appreciated. Hopefully we will be able to stay again next year.
Prior to securing the property for rental, communication with the owner, Mr. Victor Helo, was responsive and informative. He was generous with his time, explaining the area and surrounding attractions. The property itself was very clean and pleasant with a wonderful picturesque view of the lake and mountains.
One regret we have is that we didn't familiarize ourselves with the shops and restaurants in the Village Complex until the last few days of our stay. We were constantly on the go driving here and there partaking in different activities. The building elevator was a big plus because we do not travel lightly!
There were just a few minor issues that I thought were not given enough attention:
We could not get the ice maker in the small refrigerator to function; ever after we switched it on. Although, ice was readily available downstairs in the large ice machine most of the time.
Several of the light bulbs were burned out and we did not notice that there were spare light bulbs in one of the bureau draws as we were preparing to leave.
The sliding glass door to the balcony with the wonderful view should have been sparkling clean (it wasn't) and the sliding screen door was not easily moved.
Other than the few minor issues mentioned above, our stay was wonderful. I would highly recommend this property to our friends and family and would stay there again in the future.
