One-Bedroom, one-Bath Condo, quiet corner unit on middle floor (sleeps four comfortably) is in walking distance (0.25 miles, or 5-minutes) to the ski lifts and the Village in Squaw Valley, California only five miles North of Tahoe City, 10 miles South of Truckee, and 45 miles West of Reno Nevada.

This Non-Smoking No-Pets Condo is cozy and comfortable with an incredible view of KT22 and Red Dog mountain runs. Perfect for one or two couples, or a family of four. Comfortable Queen bed plus a brand new Queen-size sofa/sleeper. Affordably priced for winter and summer use.

Parking for one vehicle, ski locker on ground floor, fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities of home, including a cozy pellet stove. Shared coin-operated washers and dryers on the building's ground floor. Linens included. Hair dryer provided. One-time $75.00 cleaning fee. Refundable security deposit required at booking time ($1,500.00) or you can purchase a one-time non-refundable Property Damage Protection policy for $59.00 directly from VRBO.

Why Marco Vailetti chose Lake Tahoe North Shore

I have chosen to purchase my condo as a vacation home, since Squaw Valley was the site of the Winter Olympic games in 1960, and ever since has improved the slopes and lifts to make it a world class ski resort. With terrain for all type of skiers, from beginners to experts, is one of the best resorts in the Tahoe region that caters to individuals and families as well, with a great ski school from toddlers to adults.

What makes this condo unique

The condo is just a short walk to the village and the Cable Car. Even with ski boots on, it takes me only 5 minutes to get to the Gondola. That way I don't have to worry about finding parking, especially on a busy weekend, or being worried about being towed during the winter months. With the convenient ski locker on the ground floor, all the ski gear is stowed away securely. The condo itself is very cozy, but it feels just like home too. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal to cook a gourmet home meal, but there are plenty of great restaurants in the village, including Starbucks too, just 5 minutes walking, where you can access free WiFi.

I love the pellet stove, that provides heat and the looks of a wood stove, without the bother of smoke and having to tend the fire, just set the thermostat to the desired temperature and enjoy, and occasionally add a bag of wood pellets into the hopper. In spring, summer, and fall, there is plenty of terrain to hike, following the creek to the waterfalls, and all the way up to Shirley Lake. If you have a bike, there is a great bike path that takes you all the way to Tahoe City, just 5 miles away. There you can enjoy the views of beautiful Lake Tahoe.

All together this is the best vacation home , away from home.

We enjoyed our stay, especially being able to walk less than 5 minutes to the Village shops and restaurants, as well as the tram. The short drive to Tahoe City was very convenient also. As mentioned in the review on your website, your stock of cooking supplies as well as an abundance of dishes and paper goods was a big plus. The condo was very clean, directions were clear and keys were easy to access. Other tenants were quiet and friendly. The two things on the down side that were out of your control were 1) the road construction in front of the complex, which will in time, be a plus I am sure. It was rather noisy and dusty during the day. 2) No air conditioning which again, is not normally an issue – it was unseasonably hot during our stay. We did buy a box fan which helped and we left it in the condo for you.

Thanks again for everything and feel free to put any or all of my comments on your website. Oh, thanks for the restaurant recommendations; Fireside Pizza was excellent and Jake’s was also - delightful view of the Lake.

Great Location - Just What We Needed!

Two of my girlfriends and I stayed at Marco's condo for the 2016 Wanderlust festival. Marco was a gracious hots - easy to work with and very organized, which made for a relaxing stay. He even allowed us to check out late on Sunday so that we could finish up our final class without worrying about packing! A 5 minute walk from the center of Squaw meant that we could run back to the condo between yoga classes if necessary. Fully stocked kitchen and cozy amenities made it the perfect place for us. We really enjoyed staying for the weekend and would definitely stay here again!

Great value, Great host

We stayed in Marco's condo for five nights on a ski trip. The property is conveniently located five minutes walk away from the lifts (maybe a bit more in ski boots). The place itself is cozy and well stocked--overall, a very fair value. Marco was gracious and accommodating as a host. I have no hesitation recommending his condo.

Nice condo with all you need

Overall a good experience. Owner had everything taken care of and was flexible on our check out time to get in one last day of skiing. Condo was comfy and had all we needed for three people. Definitely recommend.

Great place and clean

The place is great. Very clean, not far from the village, very quiet. It is big enough for two but more would be tight. The laundry is shared and is now 4 quarters so plan on that. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and things to cook almost anything. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Great condo and location in Squaw Valley!

Great location and value for Ironman Lake Tahoe weekend! My fiancée and I spent 3 nights at Marco's condo for race weekend - the condo is quaint, clean, and perfect for any Tahoe trip!

Condo is centrally located in Squaw Valley, yet was still very quiet. As others have mentioned, the kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you need for cooking! There are a number of options within a five minute walk if you prefer to eat or drink out too.

The owner - Marco - was great to work with; super responsive, flexible, and friendly. He made the entire experience very positive. We would definitely stay again!

Great Condo for Squaw!

I recently stayed at this Condo in Tahoe and it was Great! The condo was so close to Squaw Village which made it so easy to wake up in the morning and go for a nice morning walk into the Village for a coffee and some breakfast, which is what we enjoy doing when we are on vacation. However, the condo was fully equiped with everything we would have needed if we would have chose to cook. The owner was very easy to work with and very organized which made the trip stress free and relaxing! We really enjoyed staying for the weekend and would definitley stay here again!
