We loved this little place. Great for a couple for a get away. Within walking distance to the Plaza and farmers market. Very quiet and clean.

Great location, great space (that could use a little TLC)
For the most part, this property delivers on everything it promises. Given the location, quality, and privacy, the value is incredible. Because the property is managed by a third party, the communication process was a little clumsy (and a little impersonal on the front end--there were rapid fire emails from the management company in my spam box about confirmation, check-in, contact info; it would be easier to do it all through VRBO). Having said that, the check-in process and communications from humans were warm and professional. They were there on time to meet me and took care to make sure I knew what to do if I needed anything.
The property is tucked away but near the main drag, less than a 3 minute walk. Off street parking is a great perk.
The house was comfortable and the management company takes care to make it both homey while offering some of the creature comforts of a nice hotel stay (e.g. good towels, great mattress, stocked with what you need). I didn't need it, but the place has a kitchen that's well-stocked with cooking supplies.
Some nits I have with the process and the place: I wanted to do early check-in, if possible, but in the confirmation emails found out that it would cost something just shy of a night's stay. They did offer to have me drop my luggage in their main office, but sometimes a guy just needs a shower. I understand paying for the extra time, but an hour is not an extra night.
Speaking of shower, I think the bathroom was the only downfall. Specifically, the shower needed a better scrubbing and the shower head is one of the worst. Bad spray, bad pressure, not adjustable (because it was broken). My hope is that someone will spend $25 and get a better shower head.
Last nit: It was unusually hot in SF when I was there. I was more than grateful to have an AC in the bedroom, but it's a ground level abode and the AC was a window unit that was not secured in place. Santa Fe is safe, but anyone could walk up from the street and pull the unit right out. Additionally, like all window units, it had pull-out accordion things to close the gaps, but they did not reach the width of the window, so moths were getting in at night until I propped something on either side to block moth entry.
I could have called to report these things, but none of them were really killing my stay...just would be some nice fixes to make this the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we will definitely be passing on your recommendations and concerns to the owner. We do have property management in the area to address issues such as the air conditioner unit and shower head, but we are glad that they did not disrupt your stay with us and we will be sure to address them now. Thank you again for reviewing Casa Luna, and we hope to host you again next time that you are in Santa Fe.
