Perched on a rocky peak 100m from Jabron, Le Hameau des Liesses was built in 1739. If its north facade gives it the air of austere fortress nestled on the side of a cliff; it is with surprise that one discovers its southern slope, opened on the nature, the valley and the sun of Provence. In the middle of the courtyard a fountain cradles the tranquility of the dry stone buildings of its sweet melody. Fields, lavender, fruit trees and sheep are our only neighbors.
The Hameau des Liesses is at the crossroads of Vaucluse, Drôme Provençale and Alpes de Haute Provence: an ideal place to discover our beautiful region, go hiking, or simply bask in the shade of weeping willows with canvas background The Montagne de Lure so dear to Giono.
We also propose to share our table d'hôte, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. You can enjoy traditional family and Provencal dishes cooked from our 100% vegetable products.
The Cottage "Chez Armand" of an area of 76m2 is located on the floor facing south. It consists of a living room with fireplace, a kitchen, a large bedroom with a modular bed (180 or 2x90) a desk, storage space, and a bathroom with toilet and bath. You will appreciate in particular the pure and authentic decoration with its beams and its ancient stones.
Our rental prices include charges and linen included. Cleaning is your responsibility or billed as well as firewood.
Located in the heart of the Jabron valley, the Hameau des Liesses is the starting point for many excursions, and within an hour's drive you can discover the main attractions of the area including Sisteron and its citadel, Forcalquier and its Provencal market, Montbrun and its spa, the Nesque and many others. We will gladly help you organize trips according to your wishes, cards and brochures in support.
If you prefer rest and calm, the interior courtyard of the hamlet is the ideal place to read or take a nap near the fountain in the shade of weeping willows, with the Lure mountain in the background: welcome in the Alpes de Haute Provence!
