Adorable and Secluded
This was the perfect little house to get away for a couple days. I loved all the decor, it reminded you exactly where you were. It's a good drive north of Taos so it's not a place to stay if you want to hop into town real quick for something, but it was close enough for us. The hot tub was a nice way to unwind under the night stars.
Really great! The beds were not comfortable, but the rest was great!
We have an amazing trip! We have always loved Taos and this was perfect!
Lovely getaway! Cozy pueblo with stunning scenery
House designed with cute, southwestern decor built with windows revealing a breathtaking view of New Mexico's mountains. The house was bright, clean, and cozy. Freshly cut firewood was available for the fireplace. Plenty of hot water for showers. We'd go back! A Good value!
Incredibly cozy home with a breathtaking backdrop
The fireplace is awesome. The layout of the home is perfect for two couples looking for a weekend getaway. Property owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Could not have asked for a better experience our first trip to Taos!
Five star stay
Nice and private
Pros: Spacious, comfortable, incredible view of the mountains from the front porch, "dark sky" community ensures great visibility of the night sky; pure clean well water from tap
Cons: Visitors should be aware in advance that this property is difficult to find in the dark. Although located only a few miles from downtown Taos, it is on a dirt/gravel "washboard" road that takes time to traverse, and there is a very sharp turn in the road that is dangerous to navigate by day or night. Be prepared to get supplies together and be back at the house by sunset.
Overall: if you are looking for a private and/or romantic getaway under the stars where you can be cozy and escape the crowds, this is perfect. If you want something that allows easy and quick access to downtown Taos or any other local attractions, this is not the best option.
This is a nice house and we enjoyed watching all the bunnies hopping around the property.
