The Kings Gardens complex is located in the Tombs of the Kings area of Paphos. The complex has a large pool for guests to use. The apartment is located at the back of the complex and consists of large, airy and comfortable accommodation over two floors, accessed by exterior doors on both floors and joined internally by a staircase. On the lower floor, there is a large en suite master bedroom with double bed, and two further bedrooms, both containing two single beds. There is also a family bathroom on this level, with a shower over the bath. The living accommodation is on the top of the building and offers panoramic views of the mountains to the back of the property and views to the sea at the front. The living area is equipped with two large leather settees, satellite TV, broadband and wi-fi access. The dining area seats eight and leads out on to the large front balcony, perfect for sunbathing or dining al fresco. There is a separate seating area, which includes a double bed settee and further balcony to the rear of the property. The upper floor also has a toilet and hand washbasin. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker and hob, fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine as well as plenty of pans, crockery and storage space for longer stays.

There are a wide choice of bars, restaurants, shops, banks and other amenities within walking distance from the apartment. The largest blue flag sandy beach in the area is Coral Bay, just a 10-minute drive or bus ride from the Kings Garden complex. As well as its beautiful beaches, Coral Bay is also packed with restaurants and bars for all tastes, including a beach bar in the summer period. As well as Coral Bay, there are other beautiful beaches a short distance away. Kissonerga, with attractions fro the whole family will allow some privacy as it is not very busy. Petra tou Romiou (Literally the Rock of the Greek) is in a beautiful setting and very romantic. Believed to be Aphrodite’s birthplace, it has a stunning view from the top of the cliff, and a pebbled beach with some sandy areas. Agios Georgios lies between the Kings Garden complex and Coral Bay. It has a fishing harbour with a beautiful, cosy beach and wonderful views with a small but charming church at the top. The older town of Paphos is a 15 minute walk along the back road from the Tomb of the Kings. This is the capital of Paphos and the fourth largest town in Cyprus. It sits on a plateau over looking the west coast and hosts government services, schools, hospitals, shopping centres and bus terminus. There is an impressive city square housing the town hall and library and a short distance away is the old local market with shops restaurants and cafes offering panoramic views over lower Paphos. Stalls on the market sell everything from food, jewellery, paintings and locally produced metalwork, lace and leather goods. The lower town by the sea, Kato (Lower) Paphos, is the main tourist area and has expanded rapidly in the last few years. Its focal point is the picturesque harbour with its medieval fort. Restaurants, fish tavernas, cafeterias, souvenir shops, attractive hotels and important archaeological sites are all within strolling distance. Kato Paphos is on the main bus route from the Kings Garden complex, or takes about 15 minutes by foot. Kato Paphos also has a beach by the harbour, not far from the famous ancient ruin of Paphos Castle. Paphos also offers plenty in the way of beach activities from jet-skiing and diving to water-skiing and paragliding to chose from. Splash around with the kids or cool off from the sun at the water park situated at Kato Paphos. Set in 35,000 sq miles of landscaped grounds, this fun packed park provides a varied selection of rides, water chutes and attractions. Just a few minutes away from the Tombs of the Kings, at Agios Georgios is the Paphos Bird Park. Situated in the foothills of the Troodos mountains, on the edge of the village of Vourni is Paphos Pafaklos (Donkey sanctuary), which is open daily and has no admission charge. The Troodos mountains are well worth a visit. Here you can discover the Kykkos Monastery and visit the highest point on the island at Mount Olympus.

Other activities on offer in the Paphos area include: crazy golf, ten-pin bowling, horse riding, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, para-ascending, go-karting, and sea fishing trips. Several championship golf courses are located within a short drive from Paphos. Cyprus courses are surrounded with beautiful panoramic views and are designed by professionals. Tsada Golf Club is situated in the hills by the village of Tsada, just over 10km north of Paphos town. Secret Valley is 18 km east of Paphos and Aphrodite Hills is located 20 km east of Paphos. Designed by Cabell Robinson, this is an award-winning championship course.

The night life in Paphos brings together people of all ages, both locals and tourists alike. There is a whole street dedicated to the lively clubs and bars called Bar Street, here you have a whole street dedicated to bars, shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs full of lively music, friendly staff and delicious cocktails

For those that enjoy sightseeing and learning about the history of Cyprus, the archaeological site of the Tomb of the Kings is a very popular attraction. This large necropolis is carved out of rock and is thought to have been the burial site of nobles and aristocrats up to the third century AD. The underground tombs, many of which date back to the 4th century BC, feature Doric columns and frescoed walls and at times imitate the houses of the living. Mythological scenes may be witnessed at the spectacular Roman mosaics in Kato Paphos Archaeological Site. As well as the Mosaic houses, this extensive historical site contains several sites of antiquity, including Saranta Kolones Castle and the ruins of the Roman Odein, an amphitheatre once at the very heart of the ancient city of Paphos.
