This house is absolutely gorgeous. The detail to wood is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. Each bedroom is separated by a hallway, making it private for everyone. We slept comfortably and enjoyed coffee in bed looking at the rain forest and animals from our window. Perfect location to town, a 5 minute drive. I would definitely stay here again.
Amazing tree house! Absolutely unique!
We stayed at this amazing tree house for one night and wished it could have been for much longer. It is built in the deep in the woods with nature all around you. We saw multiple wild animals while sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning.
The house is beautiful! Lots of unique wood art and carvings throughout the house. Perfect for 3 couples or 6 people willing to share beds.
It’s very close to town and all the things to do in Monteverde.
I would advise an SUV with 4 wheel drive. The rode to get to the place is steep and not paved.
I will definitely to stay here the next time I’m in Monteverde.
Up in the trees
What a fun home! Like a cabin, but in stilts in the trees. Three distinct bedrooms on opposite ends- great for a family or couples. Bathrooms were great plus stocked with shampoo and soap. Fully functional kitchen for cooking. Plenty of room to spread out. And multiple balconies.
The interior features lots of handmade wood furniture and paneling and wordwork/ art.
No AC but in August we were not hot. Maybe even a little chilly in the mornings.
Lots of wildlife. We saw a few white faced monkeys, fox, agouti, and lots of birds.
The home is enclosed, but still had a few bugs and spiders inside.
The laundry facilities were full sized and worked well.
The home is close to town center, but down an unpaved road. Not too steep. Easy parking.
Stay in a beautiful unique treehouse!
This property is very unique and beautiful. Definitely off the beaten path but a short car ride to town. The inside is gorgeous, spacious and could easily handle three couples Due to the nature of the roof (metal) it can be very loud when it rains or things hit the roof from the trees that tower overhead but it just adds to the character of the property. Host Ana was fantastic and went above her duties to set up a shuttle for one of us back to the San Jose airport.
