A cozy cottage just 1 hour from San Francisco by car but a world away in small town ambiance.
The house combines modern comforts - newly remodeled bathrooms and kitchen with the comfortable lived-in feel of a house well-loved. There is a very private Master Suite with a Cal-King bed and a full bathroom within the room. There is a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a queen bed in the middle bedroom, with a large shared bathroom in between. We have new mattresses, and guests who sleep here never want to leave.
Outdoors, there are places for those who like the sun and those who like the shade. Have morning coffee on the front porch surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Grill and eat outdoors at a generous dining table under umbrellas. Watch the beautiful sunsets from the back patio, and stay out under the stars and the Sonoma moon. Enjoy an evening in the spa in peace and quiet.
Everything is provided. Just bring yourselves and your friends and family and enjoy!!!
We enjoy wine and sun and warmth, and chose Sonoma because it was an easy drive from San Francisco. We even enjoy the rain, watch a movie, and listen to music or read.
Linda Reid purchased this cottage in 2004
We love the Northern California wine country, and wanted a cottage to escape to when the fog of San Fransisco summers got too much. most summer days, there is a 20 degree difference between San Francisco and Sonoma. We also wanted something we could enjoy with friends, after great days of walking, shopping, and wine tasting.
Cute cottage with outdoor garden area that was perfect for a girls wine tasting weekend. Convenient location about 1.5 miles away from Sonoma Square. Visit Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family wineries.
The cottage was all it implies! The garden setting - entrance and backyard - enchanting. The kitchen was well stocked - we prepared a multi-course Italian dinner! Enjoyed the hot tub and the walks to the square for breakfast, coffee and wine tasting. An atmosphere of comfort and relaxation.
Sonoma Cottage is perfectly charming! The house is nicely appointed and the outside is gorgeously landscaped. The hot tub is a great addition. I would recommend this to my friends as it is convenient to town and many wineries.
This is our 3rd year of staying at the Sonoma Cottage for our 5 day girls trip. This is a great place to feel at home and relax while on vacation. We had morning coffee in the back yards and then came back after a few winery tours to make dinner and relax. We did not get to use the hot tub much, as it was rainy, but we found a nice supply of puzzles to do around the living room table! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and there are plenty of towels and comfy sheets on the beds. We love staying here and hope to for many years in the future!
Absolutely perfect. Every possible thing you could think of was provided. The garden was superb and so restful. There were 6 of us and we ate in every night. So unusual to have ample pots and pans. Well done Linda.
We had such a nice time staying here. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The backyard is a beautiful oasis....and the hot tub was absolutely amazing! We'd definitely recommend staying here.
