With sliding glass screens to offer shelter when needed, the balcony terrace offers the perfect warm and inviting area in which to relax throughout the year, with far reaching views of Bellagio to serve as the perfect back drop for enjoying a drink or evening meal to the small dining area.
More formal dinner parties for up to 6 can easily be enjoyed to the modernist dining area provided next to the living area. A fully-equipped modern kitchen is situated next to the open plan room for guest’s convenience and offers everything one could wish for when preparing delicious home-cooked meals, including an electric hob, oven, kettle, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. Its large opening looks out into the open plan living room, for a sociable venue in which to cook whilst entertaining guests.
The sleeping accommodation offers flexible arrangements to suit groups of 4, with a spacious double bedroom and a large twin bedroom. Couples can enjoy the restful ambiance of the master bedroom, which offers a simply contemporary finish enhanced by the beautiful lake views from its Juliette balcony. The twin bedroom is equally spacious and looks out to the surrounding residence and is furnished with fitted wardrobes. A retro tiled bathroom offers a striking place in which to enjoy reviving the senses or for enjoying a relaxed bath time to the bathtub with overhead shower.

Menaggio offers easy access by ferry to the visitor delights of Bellagio and Varenna whilst the central western Tremezzina shore boasts a fabulous lakefront stretch of restaurants, cafes and bars to savour throughout your stay. The location is ideal for reaching Lake Lugano (19 minutes drive), Como city (40 minutes drive) and the family-friendly ski resort of Madesimo (75 minutes drive).
Nobiallo is a picturesque and popular enclave, north of Menaggio and offers pretty ‘old fisherman village charm’ and modern day amenities.
The village boasts some historical surprises for visitors including a quaint and a distinctive leaning Romanesque bell tower, the Sanctuary Madonna Della Pace built in 1660 and the ancient Roman road known as L’Antica Strada Regina. The Roman road which passes through Nobiallo was used as the main lake road up until the end of the 18th century when the new wider road was built, and nowadays, is enjoyed by walkers and cyclists who wish to explore the western shore on foot from Menaggio to Rezzonico.
Lake view picnic areas and informative maps are provided for visitors along the path and the route takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete each way.
Nobiallo also features a working marina with private boat moorings and chartered yacht excursions, a lakefront beach and a selection of useful amenities.
Outside the residence, guests are within easy walking distance of the mooring facilities of Nobiallo Marina as well as the frequent western shore bus service. Nearby Menaggio is within easy reach also, to provide a picturesque accompaniment to a holiday here with a wide range of local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars to enjoy alongside the resort town’s popular Lido and frequent car and passenger ferry service.

There are Golf clubs around Lake Como: The Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club is Italy's oldest golf course. Established in 1907 with 18 holes Par 70, it is located above Menaggio near Croce, in Grandola ed Uniti, approx. 20 min. by car. This beautiful lake region of Italy is not the best for skiing as you may imagine, despite its scenery, crisp air and near perfect visibilty and mountains capped in winter snow. It does however have Skiing opportunities at local resorts for a day out.
There is a small ski area on Mt. Lema, not more than 10 km from Lugano, but you have to be lucky to have enough snow for skiing. In Ticino, the local Swiss Canton, the best places to ski are probably either San Bernardino (south of the pass of the same name) or Airolo (south of Gotthard pass). Both are reachable in about 1 hour by car across the Swiss border.
There are direct trains to Airolo as well from Lugano and hence from Italian Stations. To S. Bernardino there is only a bus connection. For more snow try Andermatt (on the north side of Gotthard pass) which has normally good snow conditions and a good choice of runs.
The closest major ski resorts are St. Moritz and Madesimo toward the Splugen Pass which is approx.100km.
