To Whom It May Concern,
We were tenants several different years and always enjoyed our stay. Bob Lowe was more than a responsible landord, he always responded in a timely fashion if we had any needs. We throughly enjoyed our stays. The large grounds in the back are especially conducive to giving our dogs the freedom to roam.
2013 was our third year back at Bob's place, and each year just gets better! We love it for the privacy, natural beauty, proximity to the fabulous Truro beaches, and sense of peace and quiet. Bob couldn't be a nicer and more helpful landlord and host. His attention to the property is great. And the best of all is that our dogs love it and are very welcome! Oh, and this year we walked to Truro Vineyards and had a delightful afternoon on the winery tour, tasting, and relaxing on their patio.
After Labor Day in September is my favorite time of the year on the Cape. The kids have gone back to school and it is easy to drive around and enjoy the scenery. I enjoyed a peaceful week at Bob's in September last year. The weather was glorious and a rest was just what I needed. Bob was quite helpful and congenial, making suggestions on places that I might enjoy seeing. I enjoyed being able to sit outside witih my coffee in the morning and with my glass of wine at night. Everything is clean and in order and I loved the kitchen and being able to cook my own food. We had a very pleasant stay and plan to go back again this year.
I stayed at this lovely cottage last summer. It was a wonderful location to relax and kick back in. This charming location overlooks a delightful orchard yet is close to wonderful beaches.Bob keeps this place clean and tastefully appointed. He is always busy working on the the yard and is happy to help you with what ever you need. Comfy Adirondack chairs in the yard beg you to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. This quiet area belies the fact that wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and museums are near by - not to mention people watching! I look forward to returning again this summer.
" I have spent one week each of the last three summers with my son at this pleasant and beautiful spot. The grounds are very well kept to lounge in and the charm of the house is inviting. We find the location to give easy access to Truro's beautiful beaches. I plan on vacationing here again with my son this summer. " Jim P.
This house and grounds were beautiful and perfectly located.
The house is near Provincetown and also near Wellfleet. There are
theaters , restaurants and also beautiful beaches nearby.
The host , Bob, is charming and responsible.
I would return again.
I spent a week in Truro last summer. This is a clean, trim little spot. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the lawn with a chilled glass of wine after being on the beach all day! Bob suggested several art galleries to visit; I even got to meet some of the artists - such a treat. This bit of heaven is also near many great restaurants, beaches, and those wonderful dunes to hike in. If you like pirates, go visit the remnants of the old pirate ship in its own museum!! Bob made sure we had every thing we needed in the well appointed house which included the aforementioned comfy lawn chairs and a grill tucked into his small glade of trees that offered a bit of privacy! I will definitely make a return trip!
Truro is home to nationally renown artists and writers. As such, there are summer courses at Castle Hill and the Provincetown Art Museum. Art galleries host numerous openings throughout the summer with wine and cheese receptions on every Friday and Saturday night. Truro is noted for its panoramic views within an uncrowded naturalistic Cape Cod environment, even in the middle of the summer. Yet for those seeking nightlife, it is only ten minutes from Provincetown or Wellfleet, and 20 minutes to Orleans. Truro Vineyard is nearby and only a short walk from the house. They give tours, have a gift shop, picnic area. You can bring your own food or they offer a variety of foods. Hot dogs, hamburgers, heroes, beer, wines etc. Delightful!
