Check out video on left to see - Fabulous 2 story private villa with its own swimming pool and rock waterfall, located across from the beach in Kino Bay, Mexico. Perfect setting for a relaxing vacation, romantic weekends, reconnecting with family and friends, corporate entertaining, summer/winter timeouts, season long reflections. Amazing sunrises and unforgettable sunsets free for your viewing from the must-see landscaped pool area and huge second story veranda.
Elegantly appointed open floor plan for casual living accented with new furnishing. This is not your typical 'Mexican rental.' Three bedrooms, with additional sleeping areas, the villa easily sleeps as little as one or two or as many as 8.
Lavishly landscaped patio and pool area with a rock waterfall compliment the views you also have of the sea of cortez. It is unique in that not only do you have your own private swimming pool, it is just 48 steps till you are in the waters of the sea of cortez. Patio is also equipped with a huge elegantly covered barbecue and dining area. Secure parking inside private entry gates for boats as well as car.

Currently live and work in Dallas, Texas with my sweet white golden retriever Hannah.
Jane McCarty purchased this villa in 2007
Bought my first house in kino by accident. This house is unique as it was redone in 2007 and is made of wood. Great for family vacations, very relaxing, not a party house.
I'm so glad we chose this home. It felt like home. There was nothing that was lacking at all. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!
This house was beautiful, big and perfect. This was our first family trip and it was perfect. Enough rooms, so close to the beach. We would definitely love to stay again.
Only thing internet did not work and there weren't restaurants close by and there was construction on the road right in front of the house and roads were closed. Had to take the dirt roads
This house has it all! Kitchen to cook, place to eat. Plenty of area to hang out! There is a lot of mosquito's so bring your spray! Cause they are inside and outside which makes it difficult to enjoy the outside sitting but other then that its great! The beach is not far at all there's a super T were you can get all the little things you may need. Just a thought you should bring all can goods that you would use in the kitchen there is no real big store to buy supplies if you stay for a while. The rooms are great! You do need to bring your own blanket though because all there is are sheets and it does get cold. Plenty of dishes to cook and use and space to eat. The pool is great perfect size and nice and warm! The grill area is great as well being your charcoal if you want to grill your seafood! Bring extra towels as well. You won't regret renting this house!
Celebrating a birthday with husband and labs for the month Feb 2013, this Villa was a great option to relax, explore and enjoy the Sea of Cortez in a gem of a community called Kino. Owner was more than giving about details of Kino as we had never been to Sonora before, there were no surprises! The pool, the furniture, sleeping beds, parking and landscaping were all highlights. The Housekeeper was wonderfully communicative and giving in helping with details and making our stay so enjoyable. If something broke, she fixed it immediately. She cleaned to perfection. We love her!! We languished on the veranda, reading in the comfortable chairs in the afternoon sun. The beach across the road was easily accessible and basically we were the only ones on it! The kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals of shrimp and seafood. Only recommendation is to bring own cutlery and download books before you come as internet is satellite. We ended up buying a Kino home on this first memorable visit, otherwise, we'd rent this house again. Life changing stay! ¡Mil Gracias!
This is my third time visiting this amazing home and as usual we enjoyed it, bet your bottom dollar we shall return.
My husband and I along with another couple visited August 6-12. This was our first vacation in 15 years with no kids. The pool was a perfect size for relaxing and the house was very cozy. This location was the ideal spot. If you leave the house and go to the left a couple of blocks, there was a little restaurant we stopped at for dinner. Try the flan, it's the best! If you go a couple more miles down the road there's a little fishing community where you can find a seafood stand, grocery store, ATM, Red Cross (urgent care) and a pizza shop called Luigi's. If you go early there are some homemade specials that are delicious. For around 7.00 you get a hot meal for 2, soup, salad and tortias. Real authentic Mexican food. You can purchase some beautiful souviners next to the beach. LOTS of seashells that you could never find on the east coast.
If you leave the house and go to the right, a couple of blocks, Casablanca's is the best place for breakfast. On the weekends the have a bar upstairs. If you continue on the road it runs into a gas station and a new development of homes.
If you like privacy on the beach, you can walk right across the street. If your looking for more people, a few blocks down is more active. Every morning we walked the beach and collected shells. We loved the sights, and the people. We don't speak Spanish but everywhere we stopped someone spoke English.
This is NOT a luxury resort touristy area. It's rustic! I wouldn't imagine my sons would like it longer then a weekend but for adult get togethers, getaways, sightseeing and seasoned couples- you will definitely bring home some great memories and photos
