This beautiful 2 bedroom, one and one-half bath unit is two levels with hardwood floors, granite counter-tops and amazing ocean views from the living room and both bedrooms. There is a kitchen (breakfast bar that seats three - no dining table), living room and powder room on the first level. The L/R has a 54' plasma TV with surround sound and a DVD player. The second level contains two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with a twin daybed and a twin trundle) a bathroom with a shower and your private washer/dryer. There is a TV in the bedroom with two twins but no TV in the room with the queen. Additionally, there is a 'bed in a box' in each bedroom which is basically a beautifully hidden cot. The rooms are a little crowded when the beds in a box are opened so we don't recommend counting on them for use on a regular basis.
From the second level you go up to an amazing private rooftop deck with a teak table and four chairs as well as two teak steamer chairs. There is free WIFI as well as CAT5 internet hookups and phone service. There is designated off-street parking for one car.

Just a short walk to Pier Ave. where you will find restaurants, clubs, art galleries and shopping. Right around the corner from the Comedy and Magic Club, AVP Volleyball Tournament. Walk to Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach Piers.
Beautiful beach with sand volleyball courts directly in front of the unit. Surfing, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking sport fishing, roller-blading, biking and skateboarding. Twenty-mile bike path stretching from Redondo to Venice Beach and Santa Monica.
We provide linens and beach towels and are happy to let you borrow our boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrella. Sorry, no bikes or BBQ. Just to make your packing easy and limit your grocery list we try to provide some basics such as laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels and TP, shampoo and conditioner, aluminum foil, etc.
Also, we love our neighbors, so please understand we have a very strict NO party policy.

This is a guest unit adjacent to our home which we originally intended only for friends and family. Since it is typically empty, we decided to rent it out a couple of times a year to help offset the cost of our own family vacations.

I wanted to send off a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your 502 1/2 home away from home! I really wish we hadn't been as busy as we were. Perhaps next year...
This guest apartment was ideal for our family of 5! We were able to have our own getaway while visiting family and friends in the area. I made it to Brentwood one night for dinner with friends in 45 minutes during rush hour, USC in about 25 minutes and Disneyland in about 45 minutes. This location is ideal for home base to visit several areas of LA! But most of all, it was ideal for walking out the front door onto the sand and enjoying the amazing beach! The owners are so accommodating and wonderful hosts. My kids loved to go run and play in the waves at the end of the day, after seeing other sites. However, they were the happiest when they woke up and put their suits on and got to spend the entire day at the beach. We will certainly be staying again on our next trip to So Cal!
this was the first time our family rented from VRBO and had a fantastic experience. The beach house was exactly as described in the write up! It is clean and had plenty of room for our family of 4. It really is literally steps from the ocean and the beach chairs were just an added bonus. We would highly recommend the property!!!!
All of the positive reviews are true--this is a wonderful place to stay while in Los Angeles. The apartment is actually more spacious than the photos show, and we had plenty of space for two adults and three teens. It is very comfortable, very clean, and you couldn't ask for a better location. Susan is the perfect host. Thank you so much for our lovely stay, and we'll definitely contact you if we get the chance to come back!
My 13 y old daughter, my husband, and I spent 5 days in this house at Hermosa beach. This house is located in an excellent location on Hermosa beach in a very safe and peaceful area. The strand and the beach are about 5 -10 feet outside the doorstep. There is a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony and bedroom window. If you like to go for a walk or jog, the strand is a great area for it. Also the market areas of Hermosa beach and Manhattan beach are within walking distance if you like shopping. The inside of the house is pretty much like it shows on the picture but feels much better in person. Its very clean, all the amenities are very nice and in working order. We had an extremely comfortable stay and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in this area.Thank you Susan for making this happen for us.
My family and I were fortunate enough to spend the LA/Hermosa leg of our vacation in this very nice apartment on the Strand. The view from our rooftop deck may have been our very favorite thing about it....just amazing and was where I started and ended each day :-). It is just steps to the sand and just a short walk to the pier! This made great home base for trips into LA, and parking at our door was a HUGE plus. Susan was extremely helpful and she and her husband made us feel right at home. We will look forward to staying here again on future trips.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. The location was perfect! The owner, Susan was very gracious and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again our next trip to Hermosa Beach ;). Thank you Susan for everything. P.S. We finally made it home @ 1:00 am our 3 hour delay ended up being 4 hours.
