Located within easy walking distance to the lifts at Peak 9 and the Snowflake lift to Peak 8, our one bedroom plus loft condo has all the comforts of home. You can relax after a day of skiing in front of our beautiful fireplace or head off to the hot tub and pool just a few steps from our parking lot.

Owners, Bill and Marie are retired teachers and parents of three grown children. They have owned their Breckenridge condo since 1993 and used it for family ski trips and as a seasonal rental. Both taught in the Denver area since 1975 and have been retired since 2005.

Bill and Marie live in Denver and have enjoyed skiing and mountain activities since moving to Denver from Ohio in 1975. Their three children love the mountains, as do the parents, so they purchased a vacation property in 1993. During the ski season, they use the condo as rental property, enjoying it when it is not occupied. Now that their children are grown, they use their Breckenridge condo frequently in summer to enjoy the mountain activities of bicycling and hiking as well as the many concerts and activities in the area during the summer.
Breckenridge is a great town for activities in both summer and winter. As a world class ski resort, the skiing is fantastic and the town comes alive after dark with a multitude of restaurants and nightlife. During the summer the outdoor activities of bicycling, hiking and fishing make the summers as enjoyable as the winters.
Nice place, had a fabulous time! Not a true ski in ski out...but only a couple blocks walk to the snowflake lift.
We just returned from Breckenridge today, and Bill's condo was a perfect home base for our family of four. Clean, convenient, easy, and a very helpful owner made this trip one to remember for all the right reasons. I would book it again.
Stayed for a family snowboarding trip. Loved the ski-in on the 4 o'clock and super short walk out to the snowflake lift. And it's a short walk to Main Street for evening entertainment. Condo was very clean (thank you!) and owners were fantastic to work with. Don't hesitate to stay with them for your next trip!
I really like the place it was very clean and spacious and a great location related to the ski hill… I did feel the walls were a bit thin as I could hear the neighbors when we were upstairs quite clearly
This condo was well located, very comfortable, well appointed, and a relatively good value. Would stay here again. The only downside was the walk to the third floor, but the top floor location also gives you the nice loft configuration. We walked to Peak 9 base and skied back to the condo on the four o'clock run. Hard to beat that.
I considered any reasons to give this property fewer than 5 stars and couldn't think of any. The location is perfect, the view from the front room is very nice. Plenty of windows provide good natural lighting. We had no problems finding a place to park. It's two blocks up the hill to the lifts and two block down the hill to town. The owner was very responsive in getting it setup.
Breckenridge Sundowner I Condos are located less than five minutes walk to the lifts at Peak 9 and the Snowflake Lift to Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Area. Breckenridge has been ranked among the top 25 ski resorts in North America by Ski Magazine. Winter activities include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and snowmobiling. The historic town of Breckenridge is one block away with interesting shops, great restaurants and exciting nightlife. Summer activities include bicycling, hiking, rafting, golf, tennis and horseback riding all in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. World class fly fishing is available within an hours drive and several guide shops are located in the town of Breckenridge. A swimming pool and hot tub are conveniently located just steps away from our parking lot.
Ski: The Village at Breckenridge, Peak 9 is less than a five minute walk from our property. This base area has full facilities for ski rental, lessons, equipment purchase and restaurants. The Snowflake Lift which services Peak 8 is also approximately five minutes walk. This lift takes skiers to the ridge above Peak 8 where the skier can ski down to the base of Peak 8. Full facilities for ski rental, lessons, equipment and lodge are available there. Shuttle bus access is available at the end or our driveway for access to the new gondola which services Peak 7 and 8 from the main parking area in town. It is possible to reach this gondola on foot, but it will require a longer walk than to the Snowflake Lift to Peak 8, or the Village at Peak 9.

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remainder of the rental fee is due 45 days prior to arrival. There are no refunds unless the property can be booked with another party for the nights rented. The deposit is non-refundable even if the property can be re-booked in the event of a cancellation.
