This colorful beachfront condominium at South Padre Island's premier resort has it all! The minute you walk through the door you feel cool and relaxed. Each room is decorated with Island-style and possesses all the comforts of home. Read a book while listening to the ocean waves or gaze off the spacious balcony at the incredible views of the pools and beach.
For the more adventurous vacationer, play a game of tennis, splash around in one of three pools, or explore the sand and surf. The resort offers a seasonal poolside bar with snacks, but the fully-equipped kitchen in the condominium meets every chef's needs. Each bedroom has a television to wind down after a long sunny day at the beach. Do not think you are visiting the laundry mat during your stay; this condominium comes with a washer and dryer.
The commercial side of the island offers unique shopping and dining just a short stroll down the main drag. If you are looking for a wet and wild time, the new Schlitterbahn Water Park is a few blocks away.

The condo was very nice and spacious for our small children. Very clean and comfortable. Great amenities and beach access. Would definitely stay here again!

Don’t take a family during Holy Week or Easter weekend!
Place was overrun with non-English speaking people up at all hours. Security claimed everyone between 10 and 32 needed a wrist band at $25 a pop! Non-refundable! All security did was check for wristbands, not any actual security duties and there was loud Spanish music at all hours.
Condo was better suited for college spring breakers that don’t care about an outdated condo with worn furnishings. And bring your own towels, the ones provided are like discards from a hotel.
I am very sorry to receive this review especially since I was never contacted regarding any shortfalls with the stay. Unfortunately, if the renter would have inquired before reserving I would have told them about the activity level in the area during the Spring Break and Easter weeks. I have many times recommended that families looking for a peaceful getaway avoid SPI during what is typically one of the busiest and loudest times of the year. Also, the renter must not have read the lease agreement provided before reserving the condo. In bold underlined letters it states that during Spring Break and Easter it is the right of the resort to require wrist bands at $25/person plus tax. As far as the furnishings, I am a little offended since they did not mention that much of the condo's furniture was replaced about one year ago including all the beds. The rest is a few years older and yes I will not lie, it does not always get treated with the care I give the items in my daily residence but it is not "outdated". It's just part of renting a property. The item I could have corrected immediately is the towels. We subscribe to a towel and linen service and have opted for the premium quality package. If the towels were anything but high quality it is unacceptable. This is the first complaint since I subscribed to the service and I have already addressed the issue. I hope to have you back during another season so that you can enjoy the best beach on the Texas coast in a different atmosphere.

The property is great! The view from the "master" and the balcony was gorgeous! So close to the beach, you could hear the waves! The condo itself has almost everything you need, including a washer and dryer, and is very spacious! Beds were comfortable, and I seriously LOVED the pillows!
Byron, the owner, was amazing. He answered any questions I had from the moment we booked. While we were there (over Christmas) he was also prompt and very courteous with helping us.
We would definitely come back to this property. We just got back home to MI, and I already wish we were back on the balcony listening to the waves. Peaceful and beautiful, and a great place to bring a family.

good location and ample room for us.
Only complaint about property would be that we didn't have a starter kit for shampoo, soap, toilet paper, dish soap and only one wash cloth and one hand towel in each bathroom. Contacted condo manager and she never responded and took two days to obtain the beach gate code. No wine glasses so we bought four and donated them to the room. It was a beautiful view and plenty of room.

The tax rate for SPI is 17% (State Hotel Occupancy Tax = 6%, City of South Padre Island = 8.5%, South Padre Venue Tax = 2%, and Cameron County Venue Tax = 0.5%) Tax ID #12040257094 Renter on the lease must be 21 years or older and staying in the condo.
