My mom and I stayed there last fall, what a great place! We had such a good time we are headed back with 3 more people. Comfortable, clean, cozy, very pretty. It will be tough to stay at a motel after staying there. The area it is located in is beautiful. Tucked away, but not far from resturants, shopping, skiing, wineries, and of course nature. Thanks its a wonderful vacation
Clean, Comfortable and Gorgeous!!!
Stayed here for 2 nights for a ladies getaway and it was AWESOME!!! The house is beautiful and was clean and comfortable. You will find everything you need here to make your stay trouble free. The hot tub on the deck was so fun and relaxing and the Jacuzzi tub upstairs was an added bonus. Thanks Tim and Linda for fun and memorable stay.
Close to Interlochen and next to Crystal Mountain
The Lodge was well maintained and description is accurate. Location is a 25 minute drive to Interlochen Music Camp where we attended evening summer concerts and also short drive to Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes and a stones throw from Crystal Mountain resort for golf or skiing. Kitchen is well stocked, grill and hot tub were great! Laughing Horse is a good local restaurant. A car is a must. Linda was very helpful and when we found a screen missing, it was fixed in a couple hours as weather was expected to be very hot. The fans and open windows provided plenty of fresh air for great sleeping and the bed was 100 times better than the expensive Chicago chain hotel we stayed at the week before. Would highly recommend for a family or small group--only downside was that there was only one shower. 2nd bath has a jacuzzi tub.
Cabin with Privacy
Location of cabin is great. Close to beautiful lakes and Lake Michigan. Linda is very kind and always available for any questions you may have about the area. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the campfire every night. Try out Fusion in Frankfort. The food and service was wonderful. Thanks again for letting our family enjoy your cabin. We will be back.
Our first time up north - a great home base!
This was our first time up north, and we wanted a central location for visiting the dunes, heading out on a fishing charter, etc. This was a seamless and easy place in which to do this. Linda was great in communicating with us. Place was clean, and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a big plus! While there was no air conditioning or wifi, we considered these to be plusses - a good chance to turn off our devices and reconnect. I'd happily stay again.
Great family getaway
Had a great trip with family (kids and grandparents). Perfect location to Crystal Mountain and Crystal Lake. Property was spotless and very well planned out. Plus the huge yard was perfect for kids to run around safely. We went up for a long weekend. Hiking, biking, bonfires, boating, and zip lining. And relaxing hot tub in the evenings. Exactly what we wanted. Only minor issue was broken railing on the bunk bed. No big deal and based on the amazing upkeep of the property, I'm sure it will be fixed soon. Will definitely consider another trip next year. Thanks.
