Delightful backyard with covered patio, fountain & gas BBQ is accessed through French doors from both bedrooms.
The dining room has an arched entrance into the kitchen, which has brand-new stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave), custom concrete countertops, and new cabinets. Dishes, pot and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, glasses, coffee mugs and a coffee machine are provided. Just outside the back door is a pathway that leads you into a serene and tranquil backyard setting with fountain, complete with patio furniture and BBQ. The two bedrooms have French doors leading onto the back patio.
This Spanish charmer is a comfortable clean home well situated for beaches, , Zoo, Balboa Park, Wild Animal Park, Legoland and Downtown. Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy street parking. You will love the serenity this home offers. Kick back on the cool , shaded patio and listen to the fountain.

House is 2 blocks from good coffee shops and restaurants and 3 blocks to a Kids' park.
On Sundays there is a wonderful Farmers' Market on Normal Street.from 9.30 till 2 pm.
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Geraldina. Just loved the convenient location, close to so many fun things.
The house is super cute and the backyard is such a relaxing spot.

The house was as advertised. It is close to many restaurants, bars and Balboa Park, and we walked to several neighborhood restaurants and bars. The neighborhood was nice and we felt comfortable walking there at night. Parking was not a problem as we were able to park our rental Jeep Patriot in the driveway when necessary. We spend a lot of time in the outdoor area as it was nice; although the garden needed some tending. The beds were comfortable, but some of the pillows need replacing. Occasionally, the refrigerator was noisy. Overall, we would recommend this house.
This house has lots of charm and character with modern amenities and is in an excellent location. The weather did not cooperate during our stay, and we wished we could have enjoyed the wonderful back yard. There were four adults in our party and we had all the space we needed. Michael was responsive and a great host. I would highly recommend this VRBO to others traveling in the San Diego area.
Overall, the property was how described on the Home Away Site. It has nice architectural features. The only complaint I would have is that the patio area could have been more presentable. All of the cushions were tired and need replacement and the garden could have been neater. The days we were there were chillier than expected so we were not able to spend much time out there. It was shady and did not benefit from the warmth of the sun. Everything else was nice. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The refrigerator fan started to make some noise while we were there but that was minor. Parking for more than one car was a little issue, at night, but we were able to park around the corner. There is one driveway spot for average sized cars. The location was convenient to all access roads. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. A car is best for this area. I would recommend this property to friends.
The best part about this Casita was the location, just minutes away from Balboa Park. Then again, San Diego isn't very big and most of the major sights don't take long to reach there. Other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants were also 5 minutes away.
The house was charming and just the right size for me, my wife and two toddlers. The second bathroom was a definite plus and something we required for our stay. The house had modern updates to the kitchen, dining area and master bathroom.
The living room furniture was modern, albeit well-used. The couches could use a steam-clean.
The bedroom furniture could use an upgrade. The mattresses and pillows could use some replacement and lighter solid-colored sheets will give us a better idea of how clean the sleeping areas are. The house is on a very quiet street, so loud noises were not an issue.
The dining area had a small circular table that was just right for our family.
We had an opportunity to grill outside, and that was nice. It was too cold to dine outdoors. The outdoor furniture definitely needs to be replaces. The cushions are torn and there is no place to sit.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house met our needs for our vacation in San Diego. We recommend this house to others.
The home was perfect for our stay and the location was superb. We're looking forward to returning.
My husband and I rented this home for Thanksgiving week. It was perfect. We loved it. It was so much nicer, comfy, and private than a motel room. The room sizes were perfect for the two of us. I would think that if we had another couple with us, it would have been just as comfy. There were two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which were very nice. Both bedrooms had a door to the super cute back patio area. The patio has a grill and several chairs. It was so pretty with all the plants and an awesome orange tree. The location was great, there is a coffee breakfast cafe down the street and not a bad walk to Park Ave where there are plenty of restaurants and corner stores. We rented a car during our stay. I was nervous about street parking, but did not have to be. There was plenty of street parking during the day and only one night we had to park around the corner, which wasn't bad at all. There is a driveway with the house, but it was very steep and a tight fit for the type of vehicle we rented. I personally would prefer the street parking. The neighbors are very friendly and the neighborhood was so nice. I felt very safe, not a worry at all. The owner is very nice and a great help. There was a basket with lots of brochures and leaflets to look at for things to do around town. I would highly recommend this house. My husband and I are already trying to figure out when we can come back to San Diego and we will definitely love to rent this house again.
This home is about ten minutes away from the beach, downtown, Petco Park, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Fashion Valley, Qualcomm stadium, Sea Port Village, Old Town, and Balboa Park. There is easy access to the freeway leading you north, to the Wild Animal Park and Legoland, or south, to Mexico. Minutes away is the 8 freeway, which can take you either West to the beaches, or East, to the mountains.
