An absolute gem !!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I with one of our grown daughters visited San Diego from Canada for 4 days / 3 nights to attend the christening of our grand-daughter.

We have stayed in many VRBO's throughout California and this, in our view, is unquestionably the best.

The relative proximity to everything we need meant that for the first time we did not need to rent car.

The Casita is spotlessly clean, well-furnished and outfitted with everything one might need.

The back yard is an oasis where we spent relaxing hours with our family.

We "will" be back !

Thank you.

Location, charm and comfort!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with my parents, were in San Diego visiting my daughter (her hubby and the grands). This house was all that we expected and more. My grand daughter loved the fountains and the grown ups loved a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night in the back garden.

My hubby and I have rented many homes in our travels and this one is among our tops for sure! The pictures are true to life (the property is that gorgeous). The house is clean and comfortable. The location is close to everything. We met several of the neighbors and let me tell you ... I'm ready to move and join this community! The kitchen. Was well stocked (though we never cooked). The only thing we lacked were wash cloths in the bathroom ... But we were so busy we never notified anyone so it's not a complaint. Honestly, this house was comfortable and charming and soooo San Diego I can't wait to come back.

Lovely home in a great neighborhood!

  • 5 of 5

We had the option of renting a place on the beach or this house...I am SO very glad we choose the Charming Spanish Casita! The house was perfect for our group (2 couples). The patio area is very nice but my favorite part was opening the windows to the front and sitting in the living area enjoying the cool, San Diego mornings. Mystic Coffee is a MUST if you stay here. It is just a short walk to this neighborhood coffee shop.

I would stay here again!

Very nice home.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. We came during one of San Diego's busiest times (Comic Con)and the location was perfect. The house is just short ride to downtown. We utilized Lyft to drive us to and from Comic Con so we wouldn't have to stress about parking. There are grocery stores nearby and a nice back patio with a bbq. It was nice to come back, grill and relax away from the crowds. The home comes with everything you need, was charming and clean. We will definately be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very, very nice

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at the casita a few times now and are never disappointed. It combines old word charm (vintage hardwood floors and architecture) and modern amenities (a modern equipped kitchen, wifi, 2 full baths, washer/dryer and air conditioning). An optional 3rd bedroom is available as well. The property is very clean and very well maintained. There is a charming back yard area that is great for entertaining (and a good gas grill too). The owners, Michael and Sue, are very thoughtful and accommodating. The listing description is accurate. The location is walkable ( about a mile or so) to all Adams avenue attractions such as Adams Avenue Antiques Row, numerous coffee shops, bistros and restaurants, an outstanding used book store (Adams Avenue Book Store, more like a library ) and plenty of other stuff.

  • 5 of 5

The house was charming and wonderful. Two full bedrooms and baths. Extra sleeping area worked great for my nephew. Great location to the beach, to the zoo, to shopping and waterfront. Clean and had nice amenities like cozy backyard with grill and full kitchen with coffee maker. Would definitely stay here again. Deb
