The house was in a great location, it was plenty big enough for the 7 adults and 3 kids we had on the trip. The inside was older, but clean.
The only issue we had involved the stove- which would trip the breaker if the oven and stove were in use at the same time.
please don't stay at this house, its dot even close to what they say
Best thing would be tear it down and start over

House was nice. A/C did not work in either main bedroom. Also, failed to tell us we had access to three docks in the lagoon side. Beside that, house was accommodating. We had a nice time.
Love the area - will never use Vacasa again though
I was very excited to be spending a wonderful vacation in a beautiful place with my family. I did not know that upon arrival to the home we would be staying in was going to have roaches crawling all over it. We arrived on a Sunday evening. Vacasa told us they would be out on Monday to take care of the issue - we waited around and when we finally heard from them were told that it would be the next day. The reason was that the house was just treated 3 weeks prior. Really?? You know this was a problem? Instead of offering to move us to another home which we gladly would have done, they sent an exterminator out to take care of the problem. It did not. We had to throw food away we had to eat out more than we intended to and when we did eat at the house we dodged roaches while trying to cook. We could not even use the grill to cook because it was filthy and very tiny for a house that sleeps 10. I had my grandchildren with me ranging in age from 1-9 and was worried about them getting bit by roaches as they slept. I even slept outside one night on the porch swing I was so uncomfortable in the house. I feel that Vacasa handled it all wrong. Although I am grateful for the small refund we did receive (and if I book again which I will not with them, I get 10% off) I believe they either should have moved us or since they didn't we should have received a bigger refund. As far as the house goes, there is improvement there as well. The stairs need to be fixed, my son in law almost fell through one of the steps when carrying things into the house. When I read the reviews when booking, they were good - however 3 weeks before we arrived there was a review about the roaches and rats around the property. I feel this should have been taken care of then. We will not be staying with any of the properties Vacasa handles again. Thank you for your time. Cheryl
We are very sorry to read you were dissatisfied with how we handled the matter. Pest control did come out to respray and said there were no signs of an infestation. We appreciate you sharing your other concerns with us so we can get them addressed.

SOOO HOT: downstairs bedrooms have NO A/C and are steamy humid
The AC cannot be turned lower than 72 which is necessary to run fans to cool the downstairs bedrooms
Sweating instantly after showering
The master bathroom toilet dispenser is missing the spring loaded holder
The master patio door is not functional
All downstairs bedroom doors have to stay open in order to breath whilst asleep. There is a 20 degree difference between the living room and bedroom temperature
The pool surround is unkempt with cracked cement and weeds.
ROACHES EVERYWHERE AND RATS DOWNSTAIRS NEAR THE POOL.
We killed numerous small brown roaches upon entering. So many that, we left our food tied up in plastic bags and used non of the cabin kitchen supplies. We left our clothes bagged in luggage out of fear of them becoming roach infested.
There were LIVE roaches stuck between wicker and glass in the bedrooms.
For the expense paid to rent the cabin, we were SORELY DISAPPOINTED with not being able to eat there or truly relax about our belongings. We would never recommend this to anyone.

We have passed your feedback along to our local operations manager and he has had a pest professional come by and he has replaced the toilet paper holder. We are also having out maintenance team work on the sliding door. And we are working with the owners on landscaping the pool area. Plenty of room, close to beach, nice deck.
Note : blender didn’t work..we had to buy one. Two large unsightly spots on lvg room rug. Otherwise nice stay. Beds comfy and lots of kitchen supplies. Thermostats didn’t read right. It got too cold at night. Had to turn off downstairs one. Overall all 9 of us had a great time! Especially with easy across the street beach! ❤️❤️
