Located on Sanibel Island, our unit at the Sanddollar is a spacious 1,660 sq. ft. Luxuriously furnished gulf front condominium. Two bedrooms plus den, 2 full bathrooms. Our unit has a 26' screened-in porch overlooking the ocean. Exceptional view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom. Master bedroom has a king sized bed, twin beds in guest room and a queen sized sofa sleeper in den. Den closes off for privacy.

The Sanddollar is a low density complex consisting of three buildings, twelve units in each building. Location is centrally located on the island - Middle Gulf Drive. The complex is very well maintained, with lush tropical landscaping surrounding buildings. We have three tennis courts, a nice sized swimming pool and two patio areas with gas barbecue grills.

We have a strict limit of six people in our unit. No pets & no smoking please.

Great relaxing beach condo

This condo is pretty much as advertised in the listing. We just completed a one week stay. I could tell it's been a rental unit for awhile since it is generally well stocked. I found the owner to be very responsive.

There are two reasons I would think this condo would drive a premium over other condos around. First, the view is great - 180 degree unobstructed ocean views. Second, the condo is bigger than most, and really is more of a 3 bedroom 2 bath unit. The unit has a large (I estimate 26' long) porch/lanai that opens to the large master bedroom and living area. It is on the 2nd floor but the building has an elevator, making it easily accessible.

The bathrooms have been refreshed in the past 10 years, as has the kitchen. The kitchen appliances are older but functional. The furnishings have been well cared for too.

We had good luck renting bikes from Finnimores and they will also drop off/pick up. The beach is easy to access and not too crowded. There's a sand bar off the coast so the waves are generally tame in this area with no noticeable currents. It's very quiet and peaceful.

Sanddollar is a meticulously maintained complex with a well behaved renter population (it seemed to generally be families and empty nesters/older couples). It's an older medium density complex and all units have ocean views. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing!

The condo#B-202 at Sanibel Island was exactly what the pictures show. I loved the view the best! The rooms were excellent size and big enough to fit my family of 5 comfortably. We will definately stay here again at this condo!

What' s Not To Like!

The condo is lovely as well as functional with everything one might need. Views of ocean and beach from the LR and MB as well as from a screened porch where we spent most of our time! .Nice walkway to the beach and short distance to great dining and all the sights.Perfect!

Wonderful screened in porch, quiet and convenient

My wife and I spent a great week in this great condo. My wife loved the large screened in porch. We slept with the windows open and the sunrise was wonderful. Besides the beach, the pool was great also. It was a convenient drive to Periwinkle Way. We even took a leisurely walk to Periwinkle Way in a loop through the neighborhood. Midweek, we went out fishing and caught a ton of fish. We enjoyed wonderfully fresh fish for dinner all week. The kitchen was great for all this cooking.

Perfect Retreat

My husband, daughter and I had a very relaxing week in Sanibel. The week was extremely quiet on the island with no waits in restaurants and barely another soul on the beach. My daughter was recuperating from an accident so we didn't have much of a chance to take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities the island offered in kayaking, bike riding, hiking, etc. Joan was a great help in planning for the vacation. Her condo is beautiful and the pictures represent it perfectly. You don't need to bring a thing with you. We certainly hope to be back...maybe in a cooler month.
