This beachfront home is located in a quiet family neighborhood. Party animals, please look elsewhere! We are well off the main road with very little traffic making it a great place to take walks or go jogging. We are situated on a long white sand beach ideal for beachcombing or relaxing the day away. The house has a large oceanfront grass yard and is completely fenced, so that kids can play. The garage has a full-sized ping pong table and foosball table for you to enjoy. This spacious two story house offers spectacular ocean vistas and stunning mountain views from just about every window. Cool trade winds and sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep each night. The main floor of the house has a pool room, full kitchen, laundry room, large oceanfront dining room that opens up to the outside eating area, living room with high ceilings, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The second story is a very spacious room opening up onto a large covered outdoor lanai overlooking the ocean.

We stayed in this for property for nine amazing nights. This house itself is wonderful, right on the beach set in a private surrounding. House contained everything we required plus more. The bedrooms were all wonderful, clean and spacious, kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. The games room was a real favourite for us. Were lucky enough to swim with the turtles right out front of the house... a real dream holiday in a great north shore location! Thanks to Maggie and Tim the owners for their welcome at the property and also a nice phone call the day prior to leaving! Would rent this wonderful place again and recommend it to anyone!!

A wonderful place to stay with family. We went with children and grandchildren, The fenced yard was great for small children. The beach was quiet and beautiful. We could watch the sunset every night while eating dinner on the patio. The home had everything we needed for a great stay, beautiful furnishing, beach items, and a well supplied kitchen (even an extra refrigerator in the garage). Try sky diving at Dillingham....Fun! Tim and Maggie were great hosts. They were at the house when we arrrived and they answered questions, and were available if we needed anything during our stay. A WINNER!!!
We had a perfect stay in this lovely oceanfront home. I own and manage vacation rental homes in North Lake Tahoe and West Maui but even after about 30 visits to Maui this was my first stay on Oahu. We really enjoyed this neighborhood. I passed a number of peaceful hours on the bench overlooking the breaking waves. I enjoyed watching the surfers. I also saw skydivers and powered hang gliders. One morning at sunrise my wife and I took a hike to the West and saw two turtles playing in the surf right by the sand.
Our hosts left plenty of boogie boards, snorkeling gear, balls, and other toys and we also enjoyed playing pool. We prepared most of our dinners here using the Weber propane BBQ. We used the provided cooler to pack a lunch each day for outings. We especially enjoyed playing in the shore break and jumping off the rock at Waimea Bay which is very close. We also rented Stand Up Paddleboards and paddled up the creek from the charming seaside town of Haleiwa. We got up early one morning to drive to Pearl Harbor just after 7 to pay our respects at the memorial there.
The house is very nice and well stocked. Our three boys shared the upstairs room and my daughter and mother in law each had their own room. My wife and I had the master bedroom and the bed is situation maybe 50 feet from the ocean. I love falling asleep to the sound of the surf.
This was a wonderful stay at a great oceanfront home in a very nice and peaceful part of Oahu.
We rented this property because of its beautiful setting and close proximity to our daughter's wedding at Hawaii Polo Club. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures displayed. There was nothing that this house did not have. The rooms were spacious and decorated tastefully with Hawaiian decor. Inside and out the property was immaculate. The owners were completely accessible prior to and during booking. We met one of the owners during out stay and it was both an informative and delightful encounter. This home was the perfect backdrop for pictures prior to leaving for the wedding. Our daughter and the bridesmaids got ready here and the photographer utilized the second floor loft and lanai for breathtaking shots of our bride with palms swaying in the background. The location on the beach made for great encounters with surfers, turtles, sun bathing, walking and fishing. We would take our morning coffee and sit on the surf bench looking out onto the Pacific ocean. Paradise and the perfect setting for our family surrounding the wedding. The neighborhood was well manicured, the neighbors friendly and we safely enjoyed morning running along the nearby roadways. We hope to get back to this wonderful piece of the Mokuleia. Mahalo Maggie and Timm. Aloha.
We just came back from staying 10 fantastic, amazing days at this house. There were 8 of us. 6 adults from age 66 to 20 and 2 kids, 11 and 9. Plenty of room for all, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook, have fun, beach play, or just sit and enjoy the views. And the surfer bench was such a plus. No one enjoyed or used that bench more than uncle Bernie did. We all wished we would have stayed the whole 2 weeks. Such fun was had by all and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home to stay in on the North shore. Will be back!
We stayed at this gorgeous house for 7 days. We were 4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 12. The house had plenty of room for us all to fit comfortably leaving one room empty. The house itself has everything you could possibly need. It was clean and accommodating to our needs. Maggie was fantastic to work with. She took time out of her schedule to chat with us about all of our questions regarding the house, local beaches and other activities that would be appropriate for our children. The garage was the kids getaway from the parents. It had foosball, ping pong, balls for every sport, coolers for the beach as well as sand and water toys. The yard is fenced in which allowed us to feel completely safe letting the kids go outside by themselves to play. Unless you have the luxury of seeing the views for yourself, pictures do not do this property justice. The bench views and porch views are simply breathtaking. The house is far enough away from the city to truly relax yet close enough to take a short drive anywhere on the island. We spent hours trying to find the right house and it seems the answer had been so simple...stay here as you will not be disappointed!
Words won't do justice to just how good this property is. It's amazing and I totally recommend it. The photos and description of the place are completely accurate, our only regret was that we didn't stay here for longer. Maggie the owner is fantastic to deal with, even for computer illiterate people like me. If we ever get the chance we would love to come back some day. A+ from us.
Mokuleia is a wonderful place to vacation. There are lots of great activities near by. Just down the road (2 miles) is Dillingham airport (It is a very small airport that offers glider plane and ultralight rides, and sky diving). Right across the street is the polo field, and you can watch a game on Sundays or go horseback riding. Just three to four miles down the road from our house is the end of the road, Kaena Point. There you can go on about a 3 mile hike or mountain bike to the point and lighthouse. It is a preservation area and it's very beautiful.
Haleiwa town is about 7 minutes away and there are two grocery stores there as well as lots of shops and restaurants. There is also a Costco on your way from the airport to the North Shore just right off the freeway if you prefer that. Just past Haleiwa town there are miles and miles of beaches. Most of the famous surfing beaches are up that way, and you can watch the contests in the winter months.
Other Activities: rock climbing, kite surfing, polo, skydiving
