My family of 5 stayed 3 nights in this wonderful, old home in June of 2016. We had the sense of being part of the neighborhood as opposed to being down in town with other tourists. Matrei is only a couple minutes by car down a steep winding road (would be difficult to access without a car). The house is basic and old but very well cared for and has everything you need, and lots of space. The views are absolutely spectacular and visible from a lovely, classic Austrian balcony. Maria and her family were wonderfully accommodating and friendly. If you're out for something luxurious with all today's modernities you should look elsewhere, but if you're looking for something more authentic with a taste of real, rural Austrian life you will not be disappointed.
Behulpzame eigenaren, mooie locatie.
