Original adobe walls, stylish maple flooring, romantic kiva fireplace, and a private patio are a few of the unique features. Indulge in a full spa experience, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna, salt water pool & on-site spa services. Set in 5 acres of private natural beauty yet only 1.2m to town. Enjoy 15+ hikes from your own private trailhead
In a recent article, Haute Living Magazine stated, "Eagle Dancer, Sedona's exceptional retreat, offers a sanctuary for couples and solo travelers seeking unparalleled beauty and personal growth." This is one of Sedona's few historic treasures, meticulously designed by architect Bob McIntyre, renowned for his work on the Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Center. The unique adobe brick walls bear his distinctive curved style, a rare find in today's architecture.

In addition to having a very unique architecture our home has a strong and unusual lineage of owners. Originally built by Platt Cline (the Flagstaff newspaper editor after whom NAU’s Cline library was named), our home was lovingly owned by Ann Miller, a Hollywood actress in the 1940’ and then by the Wrigley family. We feel honored to be the stewards of this historic property in Sedona and while we modernize we are constantly ensuring that we continue to respect the beauty of the architecture and the legacy that the previous owners left for us.

What you will experience:

The perfect intimate setting to celebrate a birthday, honeymoon, babymoon, anniversary or simply to indulge in the joy of life! We have four independent apartments on property, each completely private with their own fireplace and/or firepit, entrance and patio or balcony. Our apartments are for couples only (or solo travelers), and while do have a few shared spaces our guests are very professional, respectful of each other's space and we rarely have much overlap in the shared areas.

You will have exclusive guest access to an aromatherapy (eucalyptus infused) steam room, commercial grade cedar dry sauna, a hydrotherapy hot tub (designed to target specific muscle groups) and a salt water swimming pool, all fully available for you to enjoy (at no additional charge,) with spacious areas where you can relaxing overlooking the majestic red rocks.

In addition we have brought together some of the best healers in Sedona to offer you a wide array of healing modalities exclusively. Each healer has been personally selected by us for their years of experience, skills and warm heartedness. About the wine tasting evenings:
Our wine tasting evenings are hosted in our main house by request. Huib was trained as a Master of Wine and has worked in several Michelin Star restaurants as the head sommelier in Holland. He graduated, youngest in his class, from the Wine Academy in Holland and has a deep love and appreciation of fine wine.
We host a candlelit tasting in our main house and have the fireplace going in the colder months. The focus is high-end New and Old World wines accompanied by wonderful Mediterranean appetizers. It’s a fun and educational experience.

Price is $225 per person, includes a 2-3 hour tasting with 8-10 wines and wonderful appetizers.

Spa Hours:
Salt Water Pool, Hot Tub and Dry Sauna are open from 7am-11:30pm
Aromatherapy Steam Room from 4pm - 11:30pm.

Salt Water Swimming Pool with spacious seating areas and lounges to enjoy the stunning and unobstructed red rock views. Our pool is 100% solar heated (to 79-80F) from late Spring (around mid-April) until early Fall (mid-October.)

Deluxe hydrotherapy Hot Tub with adjacent terrace overlooking Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot, Sphinx, Steamboat and Three Sisters.

Aromatherapy Steam Room, eucalyptus infused, commercial grade, extremely soothing and restorative

Commercial grade dry Sauna. Cedar lined and two levels to experience more or less heat, for your comfort level.

There are also many spaces around our property where you can sit, dine or have a glass of wine and enjoy the incredible views.

While we do have three other private apartments on property, for couples only and share spa amenities our guests are very sensitive, very private and respectful of each other's distance and space and we very rarely, if ever, have overlap in the Spa area as there are plenty of amenities and space for everyone.

Our goal is for you to completely relax, restore and recharge in the midst of the sacred red rocks of Sedona.

We look forward to hosting you here! Either we (Iona & Huib) or our Co-Hosts will check you in personally on arrival. Then we are here to assist you during your stay. We are always happy to interact with you and also we will always give you as much privacy as you wish when you are staying on property with us.

We love the tranquility and privacy here, the unobstructed views, the nature and wildlife. The sunrises and moonrise’s are spectacular and the evening sun makes the rocks glow in a way that makes you feel out of this world. Yet if we want to go shopping or out for dinner we are just a couple of miles away.

Although we are in the total tranquility of nature with over 14 hiking trails beginning right from the edge of our property, we are also very close to all the conveniences, restaurants and shops downtown (only 1.2 miles from Wholefood). Since we are at one of the highest points of Soldiers Pass and although walking is possible, we do recommend you rent a car while you are here so you can easily get around and drive back in the evenings after dining out. We also have a friendly local taxi/Uber contact who is happy to pick you up and drop you off if you want to spend a day or an evening without the need for driving.

- EV charger conveniently located within a 2-3 minute drive from our property.

- Private Trail Head on property to 15+ hikes and trails.

Fabulous place to get away from it all
We were met with gracious hosts upon arrival, pure relaxation the moment we drove thru the front gate. Excellent accommodations and amenities. Extremely quiet, peaceful and the views oh my!! Close to run into town but on property you feel a 100 miles from anything. Amazing views for enjoying wine in afternoon to coffee waking up. Everything about this place was spectacular. Will return again, hopefully soon. If you can book a few nights you will be so pleased. The hosts text me and were in contact with anything we asked for but we were left alone as we were wanting quiet time alone. Fantastic wine selection in room plus good snacks, very thoughtful. Bedding was heaven too. We originally booked 2 nights as that was the only availability but host text us and had a last min cancelation and offered us one extra night. We quickly said yes! Our only complaint about this rental is we didn’t have enough time there! Will be dreaming about this place for a long time to come! Book it, run don’t wait!

Extremely disappointed
This was our first time to Sedona to celebrate our anniversary. Fell in love with the listing so was worth the expense, or so we thought. That evening we woke up from a nap to a mouse in the room. The owner came to the room and trapped into a corner and left it there he tried to convince us that they had never had one before I felt so bad because we had been so excited to be kid free on vacation we left for a drive and tried to decide what to do we decided to go back at this time it was 11:30pm as soon as we walked in, there was another mouse crawling up the brick wall. At this point we knew we could not stay here. The owner stated that since they chased this one and trapped it behind the fridge that there was definitely not anymore. At that point we were done. It was after midnight and we had no where to stay. frantically looking online for somewhere to stay after paying for this place trying to figure out how to pay for another room in sedona last minute was horrible and stressful. The owner said he would refund us 100% and he did however we didn't get the money back in our account until 7 to 10 days later. our entire anniversary weekend was totally ruined. No money and no where nice to stay. We found another room around 2am and paid over 600 for the night but no massages were able to ve scheduled because it was last minute so there went all of our vacation plans and money being in sedona and not being able to do anything the rest of the weekend totally destroyed our vacation. My sister who also has a VRBO rental heard what happened and said she would have found a place for us to stay paid for our room. It was just an all around total disappointment. worst anniversary weekend ever.

Our goal is to create a sanctuary, a space where magic can happen for our guests, a place of connection, restoration and transformation.

We are total romantics at heart. We love beauty, travel and exploration, we enjoy getting to know people, immersing ourselves in new cultures and experiences, we are grounded in spirituality and we love all the classics, art, ballet, music, poetry and last, but not least, great wine and unforgettable dining experiences.
Our goal is to create a beautiful, welcoming space away from the chaos of daily life, where our guests can truly rest, relax, restore and reconnect with the essence of life. Our main wish is that all our guests depart refreshed, re-energized, transformed and happy, ready to embrace all that life has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This is one of a handful of historic buildings in Sedona. Designed by Bob McIntyre who also architected the famous Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Center and other unique buildings in Sedona. When you look closely at the adobe brick walls, notice how they curve, a hallmark of McIntyre’s style and something that very few would replicate today.

We also have a beautiful new deluxe Hot Spring therapeutic hot tub designed to target specific muscle groups (very relaxing and incredibly soothing) and a salt water swimming pool (solar heated), aromatherapy steam room and professional grade dry sauna, all fully available for guests to enjoy with spacious areas for relaxing.

What makes this property unique

Highest residential point in Sedona, unobstructed red rock views, tranquil, transformative space where our guests can relax, restore, refresh and reconnect with nature, with each other and themselves. Private trail head with access to 14+ hiking trails including Sugarloaf Mountain, Coffee Pot, Devil's Kitchen, Tea Cup, Andante Trail, Seven Sacred Pools, Soldier's Pass. Onsite Healing modalities available to guests where we offer Myofascial Release, Reiki, Meditation, Acoustic Sound Immersion, Private Yoga and Life Coaching.
