What makes this house unique

Proximity to both lake and town make this house very convenient

Guestbook comments from the owner

We stayed at this adorable cabin with our children for a week in August. The house was immaculate and very comfortable and cozy. The lake was amazing and we all swam and canoed and fished off the dock most of the day. At night Great Barrington has many great places to eat or to entertain the children. The kids loved to go bowling in town. Barbara was a breeze to work with and wonderful with all her suggestions for places to eat. We are looking foward to returning again.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. House is very well stocked with everything you will need. It is very nicely updated and it was extremely clean! Short walk to shared dock access. Fishing in the lake was a success. Neighborhood was good to take our dog on a walk as it is mostly private drives. Nice size backyard and small front deck to sit on. We would recommend this cottage and definitely stay again.

We went to dinner in Great Barrington at Allium. Food was very good and atmosphere was very nice.

Absolutely amazing!

We cannot say anything bad about this house… We needed a place to stay last minute and they contacted us within the hour. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed and more. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We can't wait to go back next year! P.S the only thing I wish it had more of was Mirrors but we made do!!! :-)

Very cute and cozy.

I really enjoyed staying at this cottage. We had no noise issues and we really loved Lake Buel. This cottage had all the comforts of home and a great kitchen. The fully insulated porch was very nice. I would recommend this to any friend or family member.

Comfy, quiet and cozy

  • 5 of 5

We had a delightful week-long stay in this charming cottage near Lake Buel. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (good wi-fi, washer/dryer, a/c). It is a quick walk to the lake and we enjoyed taking the canoe for paddles around the lake. It is also very quiet - few cars driving by. Everything is clean and functional. It's a great place for a couple or small family.

It was a great cabin in a great location.

  • 5 of 5

We loved the seclusion of the cabin, and the fact that everything was there for us to use.

My only suggestion would be to add a Keurig for coffee:)

cute winter cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a couple days over Christmas break and were lucky to get fresh snow for our visit which made the woods very picturesque. The cottage is very well equipped and nicely decorated. The wood stove helped to keep the place warm and cozy. There was a small hill out back to sled down for the kids. The roads were a bit windy, so it was good to have 4 wheel drive in the snow.
