Guestbook comments from the owner

Whether you like to swim, paddle around, sun bathe, sit and think or sit and soak in the sunshine, the facility is absolutely perfect for relaxing.

If you like to be inside watching TV or reading, it's great, too (more stations than I could count).

Quiet neighborhood. Close to Pasadena's Old DownTown and plenty of attractions nearby.

Attractions nearby, yes. But you can get your full value just by staying around and enjoying the premises.

Thank you for a great stay.

Polynesian Paradise in Pasadena

  • 5 of 5

Traveled to Pasadena with my wife and parents for my son's graduation from APU this December. The patio with the outdoor fireplace comfortable furniture and lights helped make the graduation party a lot of fun. We did not use the pool but enjoyed the hot tub. The Polynesian decor is a little over the top but works, the neighborhood is very pleseant and the location convenient. Owners were friendly and helpful, enjoyed our stay very much.

Our own personal resort

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay! The outdoor area is incredible - the pool and hot tub are beautiful and luxurious, and surrounded by lush greenery and flowering trees. It feels like you're at your own private resort! It's just as enjoyable at night with the underwater lighting and the patio lights. We had one issue with the hot tub, but Jama responded to my text instantly and had it fixed in a few minutes. We barely left the property during our stay - even in LA, we couldn't come up with a good reason to leave paradise! We had two couples staying and had plenty of room - we were actually surprised at how spacious the place is. Literally the only thing that I can think of that could have made the trip more comfortable was if there were two bathrooms, BUT it was perfectly fine to share. We definitely plan to return!

Beautiful Property for a Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We recently visited the "Polynesian Paradise" for the second time. As the pictures demonstrate, the pool area, including hot tub, waterfall, grilling area, and gas fire pits, is quite beautiful and is truly an oasis. The property is in an upscale Pasadena neighborhood, yet you feel very removed during your stay. The housing is a converted garage, and includes a loft with additional sleeping. We have two girls, ages 12 and 18, and they love coming to stay for vacation! The property is conveniently located only a mile from the freeways that leads to downtown LA and the beaches. While there is no shortage of places to day trip into LA, we always looks forward to returning each night to relax at "Paradise". We have found Jama to be a very gracious host, as well as a very capable manager of the property. We look forward to return visits !
