There are 3 large bedrooms with 3 king size beds and tvs with cable boxes for HBO (each bedroom has one), and 2 bathrooms. One bath has a separate tub plus a separate shower. The 2nd bath has a shower stall. A wonderful kitchen with flat screen tv with new appliances, granite countertops and new cabinetry. A very large great room with a large flat screen plasma tv (HD channels and HBO) and dining room opens with huge wall size glass doors (13 foot span when open) onto the private patio and pool area. Perfect for entertaining and inviting your guests over to impress them with where you are staying while in Palm Springs. (Total of 5 Flat screen tvs with hundreds of cable channels) Be sure to bring your Ipod. We have a stereo connection to ipod. Also there is a wireless speaker for the pool area.
Absolutely stunning views of the mountains and palm trees, unobstructed from power lines as Old Las Palmas is one of the few areas with underground utilities. * Some rental properties may have mountain views but you have to go out and look back at them. This property has a beautiful southern exposure view. From the living room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms, your view is to the pool with the mountains as the backdrop. Fruit trees and private ficus hedge surround this property, along with a wall and motorized gates. Notice the green grass? We have it seeded every year. There is nothing like the desert nights which are breathtaking as the crystal clear sky reveals millions of stars and the moon is like a spotlight. This home is like your own private resort oasis.
You´re centrally located in this property, close to all shopping, entertainment, famous restaurants, cafes, theaters and downtown.. The Palms Springs airport is 10 minutes away. Vrbo has just started a new renter protection plan' instead of the renter having to leave a deposit. The cost is $59. This protects you from damages, etc. If the dates are available, please inquire. Old Las Palmas is THE neighborhood in Palm Springs. It is full of multi million dollar properties with unobstructed GORGEOUS views of the mountains. It is also centrally located and is walking distance to downtown. There are numerous businesses (restaurants, convience stores, shops, etc) close by.
I love this home because of the privacy factor. Right after I purchased this home, I had custom gates made for the driveway and side walk. Also, I allowed the hedge to grow so I would have total privacy in the front and the back. No one will know you're there.....it's that private. Also, the location is central to most everything. Your within 3 blocks of the new Rivera Resort and Spa. GREAT food and a fun place to go for drinks by the pool while sitting by firepits. You're also in walking distance of the famous coffee house called Koffi. This is a fun place to go on the weekend mornings, take the dogs for a walk and let them play in the grassy courtyard. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance including a great Tai restaurant to Denny's. (something for everyone).

Perfect! This lovely home had everything my husband and I needed for our quiet and relaxing 4-night stay. While the interior is very spacious, well appointed and nicely decorated, all of our time was mainly spent enjoying the very private backyard with pool. The location was perfect for our needs offering a quiet neighborhood setting and a very short drive to downtown shops and restaurants. Chuck was extremely helpful before and during our stay. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!
My wife and I love Palm Springs and this location is perfect! A wonderful home in a great neighborhood and just moments away from downtown Palm Springs. We enjoyed a week getaway here. The house is bright and sunny, with a well stocked kitchen (and home) and a comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Washer and dryer worked well too. The house is clean and tidy and the layout of backyard terrific. We so enjoyed the pool, beautiful. Owner, Chuck very helpful. Highly recommend this "GEM" of a house and can't wait to come back. This property was perfect for us. The house was nicely decorated and had a beautiful view of the mountains. It had large sliding doors which allowed for indoor / outdoor living. The 3 bedrooms were all a good size and the kitchen was very efficient and well equipped. We spent a lot of time around the pool which had plenty of places to relax and entertain.
The property was also in a perfect location, very close to everything.
We would highly recommend this property and would definitely rent it again!
We rented this property for my husband's birthday. Although the weather wasn't great, we had a wonderful time. The neighborhood is beautiful and perfect for walking or riding bikes. The home was roomy and had everything you could possibly need. The pool and grounds are lovely and private. We felt very secure and comfortable, no jet noise or obstructing views of the gorgeous mountains. Chuck was extremely helpful and always communicative. We would definitely come back and recommend for our friends and family.
My 3-generation family vacationed in Palm Springs for a week in February. Our crew included myself, my mother and two teens and we all wanted a to relax in a comfortable, conveniently-located home where we could all hang together and also have a little privacy. We found that and more, and 8 weeks later, we continue to talk about how our stay at this property made our vacation so memorable. We felt immediately at home the moment we walked in and looked out through the wall of living room windows to the mountain view and big yard. Everything about our stay was just easy - from the responsive communications with the owner to the very clean, organized and well-appointed house. A big plus was the high-quality linens and great mattresses. We enjoyed the location just north of downtown (tourist crowds) and in a beautiful historic neighborhood (take a walking tour from the historical society). It was quiet but still a short walk to fun shops and great restaurants and we all appreciated the close convenience to the airport, hiking, nightlife and the free trolley. We would all stay here again without question!
