About Hill Property Management / Claudia Hill

Living on the East coast and owning a business can combine for some very stressful days. When we vacationed in Jackson Hole in 2005, we felt we found a peace that we had not felt in a long time. Several more trips with our 3 adult children and son-in-law to the area landed us in Driggs to buy this family home. Gorgeous country, warm, friendly people and a lifestyle that is very down to earth and reasonable are just a few things that helped us make this decision. Learning to ski at the age of 50 is scary to most; but it was a dream that I always had and the local resorts made it an easy accomplishment.

The activities we enjoy are hiking, playing golf, skiing, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, fishing, walking our 3 golden retrievers, cooking (hence our extensively stocked kitchen) and just relaxing. This is what Teton Valley is all about – enjoying your life your way.

Superb!

A perfect ski house for the Winter break (Jan 1 - Jan 7). Family of four.

Coming from CA, one of the unique features of this house that we really enjoyed was the quantity of baseboard heaters. House heats up quickly, and where you want it.

Clean, and well-stocked w/ condiments. Plenty of pots, pans and dishes.

Location was great. You cannot get much closer to Grand Targhee (property is just outside of the small town of Driggs). ~20-30min to the ski hill.

Restaurants in town didn't take reservation, and seating is limited, so plan accordingly (recommend eating an early dinner).

Local supermarket (Broulims) is very well-stocked.

Skiers: pack for cold weather. It was -20F on Th/Fr AM. Warmed up in the afternoon to 5F. The snow at Targhee was incredible.

Drivers: buy -20F windshield wiper fluid BEFORE you go.

The drive up to Grand Targhee is easy relative to many other mountains we've driven. A couple of 180 degree switchbacks where you have to take it slow, but otherwise no problems.

We drove our 2015 AWD Toyota Sienna minivan from CA to Driggs, w/ no problem.

Chains were never necessary, although you're nuts if you don't bring them along.

Very nice house to stay

  • 5 of 5

This house is very nice and well maintained (upper class) for stay. Plenty of cookware and dinnerware. The beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice for a evening walk. About 45 minutes to Jackson. Both adults and kids from my brother and my families loved this house. Highly recommended!

Great Base Location

  • 5 of 5

The owner was kind enough to allow us to stay for one night in the house. We were able to repack the luggage, cars, and prepare and cook the meals for the rest of our vacation to Yellowstone. The house was spacious, cleanly, and offered a great respite from our day of travel.

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this adorable Driggs home on a trip that started in Glaciar National Park, encompassed Yellowstone and finished in Grand Tetons National Park. It was only a 35 minute drive thru the gorgeous Teton Pass into Jackson, WY. I had read that Driggs was the quiet side of the Tetons and indeed it is. The house is very comfortably appointed and just pretty in general. Everything was clean, plenty of linens, well stocked kitchen, laundry room (YES!) and even a garage to park in. We are from Florida so we are used to very high temperatures with high humidity. The weather in Driggs was in the mid 80's and nice breezes blew each day. The house does not have A/C but with windows open, ceiling fan on the family room it was very comfortable. Again, I stress we are from Florida so our idea of heat and humidity is quite different from the locals in Driggs.

Very nice neighborhood with beautiful views of the mountain range. It is a family neighborhood and the kids were out until dusk riding their bikes up and down the street. We could not have asked for anything else to complete our 8 day journey through the National Park System!

Perfect little home in a perfect little town

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay!! The house was adorable and had everything we could want! Felt like "home" miles from home. Driggs is a wonderful little town with a great grocery store, amazing pastry/bakery, and good local places to eat. Short drive to Jackson, Wyoming too. Can't wait to go back and stay at this home!!
