Great central location in Historic area
We have loved our stay here in Historic Wendell. At first we thought being on a main road would be loud or busy, but you can't hear anything inside the house. The porch was out favorite place to hang out. Thanks for the dinner suggestions and directions!
We are glad you liked it, I agree, it is very peaceful in Wendell. Thanks for the feedback!
We loved the historical home and the walk to the coffee shop!
I would’ve given the house a 5 star but parking was terrible especially since it was on grass and it rain every day. Also, you need blinds for the Kitchen windows/door for privacy . Everything else was excellent.
Thank for your comments, it is hard for us to control the rain, but we will try! The kitchen windows face one of the doorways so we don't like to cover them, but we will keep it in mind for future guests. Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice town and nice people!
This is a great town, it is small but has a lot going on. Plenty of restaurants and shops! My daughter's favorite thing was the karaoke machine, they had a blast. We liked the electric fireplace, that was a big hit! We will visit again soon.
Thank you so much, please let us know when you come visit again! We do 10% off for return visits!
Home away from home...
If you love historic homes and quaint little towns you will love visiting Wendell. This home has everything you need to make your stay perfect. And they greeted us with water and snacks, little soaps, and coupons for the General Store. We did walk over and try the ice cream and the General Store and all of downtown Wendell was delightful. Who knew that they would have a wine store, a distillery, a general store, and antique shops all in a few blocks of downtown. We will be back in the Spring and hope to be able to visit again. Thanks for the lovely stay.
Please do come back and visit again, I am glad you enjoyed it!
My favorite house so far... Loved the porch!
We love historic houses, but this one was a real surprise. Outside it looks like a typical 1915 bungalow, with it's wide porch that wraps around the side. But the inside of this home has been renovated to the max. My son loved the "stones" in the floor of the shower. Our weather was so nice, we really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the cars go by. We even got some ice cream at the General Store downtown, since it was in the mid 70s this week. When we visit again in the Spring we will be sure to book this home again, it had everything we needed and then some.
Thank you for your great review. Whenever we start a new property we try to build on what we have learned from the other ones and always improve! Let us know when you will be in the area again. We look forward to having you stay with us again.
Wendell General store is really close by, only a few blocks away. Enjoy downtown charm and get a hand dipped ice cream cone.
