If you are looking for a memorable, artistic, recently renovated and furnished (summer 2018) Taos lodging experience you have found it. Los Mellizos is a rare gem in the vacation rental world. The new owners spared no expense insuring top of the line cabinetry, cookware, table settings, appliances, furniture and art.
(Please be informed that the adobe exterior was unable to be updated this season due to the "early winter arrival" Consequently, the stucco color coat has to wait until the first signs of spring let us know when the new color coat can be added. This routine is nothing new to Taos residents. However, we feel compelled to inform our guests so as to avoid disappointments. Please compare our "before and after photos so as to avoid any "surprises" upon arrival. . Chances are good that we will have record snow this winter to make up for last winter and no one will know the difference! We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Great place!

Location is so convenient and walking distance to plaza. Small and perfect for 2 couples. Hot tub is located in the neighbors yard but easily accessible. Would stay again!

The walk into town is also short and nice; we hardly drove anywhere. The house is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable inside. The nightly cool air is great to breathe and the temperature inside was very nice. We will stay there again!
