City Centre living just doesn't get any better. This well equipped and beautifully renovated 18th Century 4 storey Town house comes complete with 5 bedrooms, 3 exquisite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen/ dining room, Living room, family room and patio garden.

Sitting within the ancient city walls, this home is ideal for family get together, groups of friends or a group of corporate visitors who wish to be in the centre of it all.

There are two reception rooms. The living room with flat screen TV, gas fire and Duresta sofas which can sit 12 and the Family room/Library, with a Chesterfield sofa, tub chairs, desk and wood burning stove which sits 7 comfortably.

The kitchen has been expertly designed to make cooking and entertaining easy, however with the many restaurants available in York within a 10 minute walk you may never need it.

The furniture and beds are all 5* hotel quality with an American King in 1 room and 3ft singles in the twin rooms. Linen and towels are provided as is soap, shower gel and the basic cleaning materials

There is parking at the rear of the property with a secure garage for a small car and another space in front. Additionally there is on street parking in front of the property available with parking permits (which can be purchased through the owner at a cost).

Wonderful weekend

We recently stayed at the property as we had a family celebration to attend nearby, it was perfect. The house is situated within walking distance to the centre of York and is furnished to the highest standard. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate the entire family for breakfast on the Saturday morning, before we took a leisurely stroll into York. It's not often that the entire family can get together, but we had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Thank you.

Perfection

We booked almost a year ago, but from the initial enquiry to our leaving the property today, Serena could not have been more helpful.

The property is right in the heart of York, literally minutes walk from all the hustle and bustle of the centre, yet the house is in a very quiet location. The views from the top floor of the Minster are spectacular!

We had gone as a large group of 9 adults and 5 children and the house couldn't have been better for us. Spread over 4 floors, we all fit in perfectly. The bathrooms were modern and immaculate, the bedrooms clean, bright and spacious. The kitchen was actually something each of us wished we could take home. We couldn't fault anything and are busy trying to organise ourselves to return again. As the kids put it, it was an amazing weekend and we can't wait to come again! We can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you

Ideally located , comfortable , spacious , very clean , well -equipped with private parking .

We spent a long weekend in York to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary in late November . This coincided with the start of the York Christmas Market which we found to be well worth a visit.

The property was ideal for our large family gathering of 13 adults and a baby. There was at least one person in every age decade ranging from 1 to 70 years and the property was able to meet all of our needs.

Because we had a 7 month old baby with us we ate at home in the evenings . The very well appointed kitchen was sufficiently large and well equipped to accommodate all of us in one sitting , as was the very comfortable first floor lounge .

The bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable .

All of the bathrooms , shower rooms and toilets were modern, stylish and immaculately clean .

The property is centrally located, easily accessible from the inner ring road and within a few minutes walk of some of the main attractions such as the Minster and Shambles area . There is also an abundance of many types of restaurant within easy walking distance .

It must be said that Serena, the owner, was extremely helpful in answering all of our preliminary queries about the property and local amenities . She even organised some extra parking permits for us.

Altogether we had a most enjoyable time , not at all like staying in holiday accommodation , rather like a home from home .

A lovely, modern house with ideal location

This property is furnished to an extremely high standard with modern interiors. It is perfect for larger groups with great communal areas and also in an ideal location in central York. We stayed for a weekend for a friends wedding and all wished we could have stayed longer. Great value with helpful owners.

Fabulous Location, Lovely House

We (family of 12) stayed in Serena's beautiful home in York to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary. The house was absolutely ideal for all the family (adults and kids), the location was perfect as everything was in walking distance. There were a couple of teething problems with TV, fuse box etc but everything was sorted out brilliantly by Serena. I would highly recommend this property.
