Location! Location! Location! This is a slope side condo at the base of Park City Mountain. This condo is located next to the Three Kings, First Time, and Eagle chairlifts.
This upgraded studio/loft (bedroom) condo is located on the top floor of beautiful Snowflower resort. It has 2 full bathrooms and sleeping arrangements for 4. The downstairs bathroom has a unique spa tub. This condo has cathedral ceilings and a large balcony with beautiful views of the slopes at Park City. The condo was recently upgraded with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a Cal King bed and bathroom on the loft with a sleeper sofa in the downstairs family room. The resort also has a large slope side pool kept at a constant 102 degrees where you can watch the skiers/boarders while relaxing.
In addition to being on the slopes, this home is a short distance to the shopping/night life in old town. Or if you just can't get enough of the mountain, there is night skiing just outside your door as well. There are 2 other ski resorts within a 5 minute drive. The Canyons resort and world famous Deer Valley are very easy to drive to. When you are done on the mountain, the resort center is a 2 minute walk. At the resort center you can ice skate, dine, or wind down at one of the bars. Everything you need in Park City is an easy walk or short drive away. You will be making first tracks each day from this slope side condominium. Ski run views while relaxing on the private deck is just one of the perks this property offers. Onsite amenities include multiple swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, underground parking, exercise facilities and more!
On a good note the condo is close to the lifts.
That is the only good note. It is beat up, scarred, not clean and not comfortable
There is only one heater and the owner knows the other one does not work but chooses not to fix it.
Five Star Rentals manages it and we had to rename it One Star Rental. After you send your money,
do not expect to get your calls returned.
There was no Wi-Fi, no dish soap, one garbage bags, and few pans. We were so uncomfortable there that we left a day early and went to a hotel.
Belive it or not, we are pretty easy to please and we were NOT. It looks like a condo rented to 15 frat boys.
My husband and I went to Park City for a ski vacation. We had a wonderful time. The is a quality condo in a great location. It was very clean and well stocked with all the basics. The reservation and check-in process was the easiest we have ever experienced. We would definitely recommend this condo and Five Star Vacation Rentals to anyone. We have been to the Snowflower Resort several times and give the resort itself four stars. This condo is the best representation of the resort that we have stayed in so far.
Condo is in a good location...close to the slopes (ski in/out). But far from the rental shops (if renting equipment you have to walk quite a bit to get to the rental shop). Note- you cannot ski right to the condo...just to the back entrance...from there you have to walk up two flights of stairs (or wait for the elevator (not convenient), to get to the top floor where the unit is located.
As far as the unit, the main bedroom is upstairs which to get to you have go up a thin spiral staircase (which you can barely see in the photos)...this was a MAJOR pain (and I'm not an out-of-shape/overweight person)...especially with luggage. This place would be "okay" for two adults but I would not recommend it for more... (kids), (there were 4 of us (two kids)). It is much smaller in person than the pictures show.
Overall the unit could some updating.
Also, on a personal note...when we checked into the room we had several questions regarding the room thermostat and wi-fi internet access...we were unable to get help from the owner as they did not return an email or phone call the first night (or at any time), while staying there.
I rent ski accommodations several times a year ...this was the first time I have written a negative review...for good reason as I would not recommend this unit to others.
