Massive roof terrace overlooking old town. Good air con. Clean. Comfortable. Very spacious. Light.
This is a great location in Lecce. Seconds from one of the old arches into the historic centre. Some excellent restaurant. Small museums and fine gelato await.
I was very pleased to host Edward and his wife. They were perfect guests, very kind and extremely polite. They followed all the rules of the house. The apartment has been managed with great care. They left the apartment very clean. I highly recommend Edward and his wife as guests.
Outstanding location and views to die for
Francisco was very helpful- especially given our very late check in. Roof top- wrap around terrace is wonderful and it it just opposite one of the main gates to the old city - so everything on hand
Lecce, the Florence of the Baroque, with its beautiful and ancient buildings, its beautiful churches is a city rich in history. To visit: the Cathedral with the Bishop's Palaces and the Seminary; the Basilica of Santa Croce and the adjacent former convent of the Celestini testifying to the highest manifestation of the Lecce Baroque; the majestic castle of Charles V, expression of the military works in 1500; the theater and the amphitheater, both of the Augustan age, traces of the Roman past; the church of St. Nicholas and Cataldo (adjacent to the cemetery) that testify to the Norman period. To know absolutely traditional cuisine, poor but rich in Mediterranean flavors. The coasts offer beautiful sea a few kilometers away from the city. Also around the area it is rich in interesting places to visit, with its ancient villages, its rich history, its archaeological sites, its natural beauty and its traditions; and of course with its flavors to be enjoyed in the traditional festivals to the rhythm of the Pizzica, the traditional dance from Salento. Other centers to visit: 40 km Castro and Santa Cesarea Terme, with its famous spa and its beautiful sea; 26 km Otranto, an ancient town with walls and fortifications, the castle of Charles V, the old village center with the famous Cathedral of the year 1000 which houses an important mosaic. Its port ferries depart for Greece; 40 km Gallipoli with its old town and its castle Angevin, almost completely surrounded by sea, built in the thirteenth century in the Byzantine era.
