Rustic Mallorcan style house with room for 4 adults and a child.

This beautiful town house, with registration number ET / 4500, is located in a privileged place, a few minutes from the center walking, but with a great privacy and unbeatable views towards the highest mountain of Mallorca the Puig Major, the town and the whole valley in general. Easily located, is very near the entrance to Sóller in an area called Son Tambor, next to halt disused train Sóller. From its windows you can see a few meters Train quiet step dawns upon the highest peaks of the island as well as twilight to the port of Soller. This is a detached house with a small garden / private terrace, a terrace for sunbathing. Its location is very fast connection to the other attractions in the area, either the Port of Soller, Deia and Palma Airport, this one about 30 minutes. It has a large fitted kitchen, two living rooms, satellite TV, two spacious bedrooms and a fully equipped children's room (bed, bed, bath, etc ...), bathroom with tub and toilet. Sit back and relax in the garden picking yourself and eating the grapes own house. Admire the different shades of the mountains as the sun of the day progresses. Open the window of the room and see a lovely postcard of typical Mediterranean village between the mountain and the sea, in the Sierra de Tramuntana, World Heritage Site. You do not need car. Ideal as a starting point for excursions. Access to the house via an old staircase of Roman times. Not suitable for the disabled.

Homely house, nice helpful owner, good area.

On arriving late evening we found the house clean and very comfortable and homely as soon as we arrived. The owner Miquel was waiting for us he was very friendly and helpful. From the first email when enquiring about the property I felt he was genuine and that has not changed. He helped us out with a slight language glitch with the taxi driver for our return journey to the airport. He was reassuring and would of done anything he possibly could to help I'm sure if any problems had occurred. We had no problems and the house had everything we needed (except a teapot!) we did suggest some comfier seating outside for relaxing, reading etc. The house was very comfy and cosy, modern and rustic upstairs but traditional Spanish kitchen downstairs, and had many little touches that made it homely. The basket of fresh oranges and lemons were just one of the many nice touches, very nice and much appreciated!

The house was in a great position for us, 10-15 minutes walk to the centre. There are two supermarkets 5-10 minutes walk on both routes to or from the centre. One has good fresh croissants and bread, the other has a fresh meat and deli counter, also the bus station is nearly opposite one of the supermarkets. Port Soller is only around 10 minutes on the bus but they are a little few and far between I think. The tram takes longer and is always busy, there are taxi's and they cost around 8 Euro. We didn't feel the need for a car as we like walking and the busses and the train are all within easy walking distance. There are many nice walks in and around soller we ran out of time, there were many more things we would of liked to do. We visited the Botanical Gardens which is opposite the road end to the house. The gardens seemed to have bad reviews, but we spent around an hour and half there (there is a little museum too but it shuts at 2pm) we didn't regret going it was a nice relaxing garden. The centre has plenty of eateries and there are little ones hidden away which you come across, and the fresh orange juice that they squeeze when you order is lovely.

In a nutshell a great house a lovely owner in a lovely area. Great holiday, didn't want to come home and certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back! Many Thanks!

Close to perfect - spacious, private, great views

My cousins and I just spent 6 days here. It's a lovely old house that is well maintained, nicely furnished and well-equipped. The house overlooks the Soller valley and has a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. It's an easy walk into the town center. The house is on a hillside and reaching it involves walking up some rustic stairs. This was not a problem for us, but elderly or mobility impaired individuals may find it difficult.

We found everything we needed for cooking (including staples like sugar, salt, pepper and other spices) and cleaning supplies in the kitchen and in the separate laundry room. The house has three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large kitchen and two roomy sitting/living rooms, one on each floor.

We were greeted with fresh figs, a basket of citrus, wine and other treats. Miquel is a natural and charming host. He patiently showed us through the property and oriented us both with respect to the house itself and getting to and from the town center, shopping, etc.

I have read other reviews that mention the Ma-11 down the hill and the railroad tracks adjacent to the property. We did not notice any noise from traffic. The train from Soller to Palma passes by about 10 times each day - not early in the morning or late at night. In any case, it is not noisy or disruptive in any way. The patio is shaded by a grape vine and is a nice setting for a peaceful morning coffee.

This is a lovely place and a great value. I would not hesitate to return.

Agradable casa con bonita vista

La casa es grande y está bien amueblada y dispone de todo lo necesario y más ( por ejemplo, tiene cafetera electrica de capsulas). La zona donde se encuentran la lavadora y la secadora es amplia y cómoda.

La pérgola con la parra que hay en la parte delantera es un lugar agradable para leer o descansar por la tarde. La pena es que durante nuestra estancia hizo un calor excesivo, no habitual y no pudimos disfrutar tanto de estar fuera.

Debemos destacar la amabilidad del propietario y su gentileza de dejarnos suficiente agua en botellada para el consumo durante nuestra estancia.

El camino de acceso de piedras es un poco elevado, pero quizá sin tanto calor es más fácil llegar.

Recomendamos la estancia en la casa de Sóller y además el pueblo tiene muchos atractivos. Vale la pena visitar el Jardín Botánico que está al pasar la carretera, la Casa Prunera (joya modernista), la calle Luna tiene tiendas interesantes. El pueblo de Fonalutx muy próximo es muy bonito y se come muy bien allí.

Meget charmerende og velfungerende hus

Billederne holder hvad de lover og Miquel er en omhyggelig vært, som har sørget for "alt". Fx er der båret drikkevand op til huset så man slipper for at købe det i supermarkedet og bære op. Der er fin plads indvendig, men ønsker man stor terrasse med udsigt, skal man vælge et andet sted. Udsigten fra selve huset er imidlertid fantastisk med Puig Major og l'Ofre i baggrunden. Den lille terrasse foran huset fungerede fint for os, som er på "tur" det meste af dagen. Huset ligger få min gang fra supermarkedet samt byen og "stranden" er kun 3 km væk og man kommer nemt dertil med bil eller sporvognen. Toget til Palma kører lige forbi huset ca 10 gange om dagen - men kun i dagtimerne og vi oplevede ingen problemer - og rækværket ved terrassen forhindrer indsigts-gener. Parkering sker på "den store ringvej" og bagagen kan ikke køres til "døren", men der kun 2 minutters gang op til huset, så det er nemt.

Really nothing to complain, nice and clean house in lovely surrounding, supermarket 5 minutes walk away, parking not direct in front of house possible (2 Minute walk with some chairs), miquel was a very charming and welcoming host

Great house for families

We spent one week in this wonderful house in Soller with 4 adults and 2 kids (one and two years old). The house is extremely well and lovingly equipped, especially for children. We really found everything we needed. For the children, we were provided with a baby bed, a chair, a babybath, a trolley and a even a baby carrier for hiking. The steep stairs were secured with a grid. Moreover, there were lots of toys in the house and in the charming childrens room.

Miquel did everything to make us feel at home and welcomed us late in the evening with food and wine for the evening and even a breakfast for the kids. We really enjoyed the shady patio, the gorgeous mountain views and short distance to the center. Clear recommendation!
