Our stylish and refurbished house is now available for rent. It is set in Golden Grove, on the very popular Rockley Golf and Country Club resort.It sleeps 4 and is set over two levels. The house has been refurbished to our standards not just to normal rental standards, luxury with contemporary fixtures and furniture. The lounge, kitchen and dining area open to a spacious tiled and landscaped patio with wonderful views of the beautiful, lush 1st fairway of the golf course. Gas BBQ, patio table and chairs for alfresco dining. Both bedrooms are air conditioned, and also benefit from ceiling fans set in the high vaulted, Caribbean style timber ceilings.The master bedroom boasts a spacious super king bed, and the room opens out on to a private balcony with views over the landscaped gardens and golf course. The delightfully decorated second bedroom has two generously sized twin beds. The pools is shared with a small number of similar properties, meticulously maintained, with loungers, chairs, tables and umbrellas.
Rockley Golf Resort is a very popular destination providing a 9 hole course,clubhouse with restaurant and bar, and nightly events.
The house is only a 10 minute walk to all amenities including a bank, shops, supermarket and restaurants. It is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the beautiful, well known Accra Beach, which also has restaurants and shops close by. Also the world renown St Lawrence Gap , known for its night life is only a 5 minute drive away.

Being a native of Barbados and going home often (we now live abroad), we decided on a rental this time as we travelled with another couple.
Rockey Resort was the perfect choice as it was a very familiar site, located 500 meters away from my original home. Our rental at 205 Golden Grove was an absolute pleasure to stay in.
The unit is well kept and tastefully decorated, yet simple but practical. Mark and Louise (the owners) are a pleasure to deal with and quickly responded to our enquires. We found the resort to be the perfect place to relax without the business of the normal touristy areas. Watching the family of monkeys make their daily morning track through the golf course was an added treat. You can sit on the little balcony and observe them going by each morning. The large property is also ideal for quiet evening walks around the golf course. The beach is literally half a kilometer away with a supermarket even closer.
We only have nice things to say about the Rockley Resort.
If you're looking for quiet and serene, you won't be disappointed.
This was an ideal property for us and we loved the quiet location of Rockley Golf Club. The two bedroom house was modern, clean and well maintained. The downstairs is spacious with a lovely little outside eating area overlooking the golf range, whilst we are not golf people we were very welcome and everyone was friendly. The grounds are very well maintained and the area is green and beautifully laid out. The resturaunt was good and economical and we felt very safe here. The communal pool was lovely and not too busy. This is a great location with Rockley beach not far away, lots of eating and drinking venues. The shacks are great fun as was the Tiki bar and Shakers. Taxis are good value also. A great first experience of Barbados for us and we look forward to coming again and we would recommend this property for a family or four adults. John Perkins.
We spent three weeks over the Christmas period at this property and would highly recommend it. We have been returning to Barbados regularly for over 25 years, being familiar with the Island and this location, we recognised the facilities described. Situated in a quiet but convenient position on the Rockley Golf Course, it was a great base for us to enjoy the island once again. The house provided for all our needs and was very clean and comfortable, it has obviously been recently refurbished. Louise the Owner, has throughout been very responsive, any questions have always been responded to in an efficient and effective manner, both during the booking process and the course of our stay.
This part of the coast is our favourite as it offers calmer waters than the East coast but a very welcome breeze on the beach, in contrast to the West coast where the air is generally still at this time of year. We were accompanied by two teenage boys who had huge fun boogie boarding on Accra Beach for large parts of the day, allowing us to relax and enjoy the sun. Accra benefits from a range of eateries, from the Chicken George Shack to Chefette, for the lunchtime snack and Café Italia serving all our coffee requirements (I recommend the Chai Spiced Frappe).
On this visit, we discovered a local restaurant (Shakers) which is within walking distance of the property and provides a fantastic standard of food. This together with many other local restaurants made this a perfect base for us. For example, Apsara at their new location in The Gap is well worth a try, offering both Indian and Thai cuisine.
If your preference is self-catering, there is a large supermarket (Massey's) within walking distance, who even offer a minibus service to return you with your shopping. They stock many known brands, including a number of Waitrose products and certainly met all our needs.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend the property to couples and families.
We had a fabulous...first time ever in Barbados....holiday. The house is superbly fitted and well maintained, situated in a very peaceful, secluded area of Rockley Golf Course. Pool facilities are shared but with lots of space for everyone. In fact it was exceptionally quiet on our visit.
Rockley beach is walkable, but a hire car is preferable, if you have a lot to carry. Great facilities at the beach with bars and restaurants. Lobster, Banks` beer and rum punches are the order of the day!!

We were looking for a peaceful base for our Caribbean Break, and this property couldn't have been better. It felt safe and secure and was nicer than our own home; we'd love to live here of course!

The beautifully furnished townhouse couldn't have been more perfect for our holiday. The adjacent pool was very rarely in use and we often had it to ourselves. With a pleasant walk to the beach or restaurants including St Lawrence Gap, the location is excellent. Looking out from the terrace, the golf course is a lovely outlook, with lots of wildlife including monkeys in view!
We really couldn't fault it and would recommend it to anyone, families, couples or small groups!
We hired a car to explore the island and always looked forward to heading back. The property was light and airy and was easy to relax in; exactly what you want on the most relaxed island on the planet!!
We'll be back without a doubt!
