'Endless View' is a beautiful spacious cabin with year round amazing mountain views. The cabin is located near the summit of Sunrock Mountain. Once you've stayed, you will never want to leave. One can truly get away from it all here by watching the sunrise from the rocking chairs on the top deck, or by taking in the breathtaking views from the swing on the lower deck.
This lovely 2,300 square foot cabin is quaint enough for 2 to 4, or spacious enough for a large family gathering. As you enter the main level, you will notice the grand open log stair case and the magnificent glass windows, overlooking the panoramic mountains. The main level has an open floor plan with a great room, dining room and large kitchen. All three bedrooms are located on separate levels and are each equipped with a full bath.
'Endless View' is located 100 miles north of Atlanta in the small, friendly town of Blue Ridge, at the edge of the Cherokee National Forest.
Outdoor activities are endless at 'Endless View': Whitewater rafting, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, tubing, and boating/playing on Lake Blue Ridge is only minutes away. Golfing, antique shopping, and the scenic railway are also close by.
Cabin is nicely furnished. View is amazing. Very quiet peaceful setting. There are other cabins on either side but far enough away to maintain your privacy. Enjoyed the game room! Be aware-price does not include $80 cleaning fee. Had some questions before we left and the owner replied each time in a timely manner. Would definitely return.
Cabin was as advertised, no issues and was great! It was well maintained and checked all of our boxes for family fun. Time in the hot tub, epic billiard and air hockey competitions, two fireplaces ( we used for nostalgia even though it was 70 degrees :-), 3 spacious rooms all with full baths and "The Endless View" was truly amazing.
Robin the owner was a pleasure to deal with and responded promptly.
Close to town, zip line, and horseback riding!
Make sure to turn the hot tub up in temp when you arrive so it's ready if not hot already and use the hose to add water up to the lights if it gets much below that.
We will stay again soon!
We had a great girls weekend at this cabin and view was awesome!! The only reason I can't give it 5 stars was because the mattresses were not comfortable. They were very hard and pillows were flat. Other than not great sleep, everything else was wonderful!
This is our second time staying here, both times for my husband's birthday. Last year was a last minute switch when a cabin in another location had water problems, so we found Endless View and Robin was very accommodating to get us in there. Its a large cabin and we didnt really need that size cabin, but decided to stay there again this year because of the views, covered hot tub, and the great details in the cabin. While there were a couple of issues, we realize no place is perfect, and I highly recommend it, especially to a family with kids. Great place!
This review mostly concerns the owner and not the property. I have waited over a month to post this since I was hoping the owner, Robin, would address the issue. Since she hasn’t VRBO recommended that I leave a review and maybe it will help motivate her to respond.
Several friends and I rented this cabin for two nights in November. During our stay we really enjoyed the cabin views, amenities, and location. The only issues we faced were a minor musty smell in the basement and the fact that most of the pool sticks are cracked at the ends. Also, I wouldn’t let small kids play around the fireplace hearth because some of those massive rocks in the facade are not secure!
The main issue I have with my experience is the lack of communication from the owner. Even before we rented the property, Robin was tough to get in touch with. I had to call and submit many requests to rent the property before she finally responded. That should have been my sign! I even had to send a request to get the access codes and instructions because I think she forgot. All of this was forgivable and I just chalked it up to her having a busy season before Thanksgiving.
However, since we left I have been trying to get my security deposit back and Robin has been extremely hard to get in touch with once again. The only correspondence she has given me is to say she is keeping at least $75 of my deposit. She claims that we poured something in the hot tub and that it foamed up because of this. I dispute that since we used the hot tub one time for less than an hour with no drinks or any other liquids around. She even claims her housekeepers had to fill it up and empty it out several times. This is either false or one of the following is correct: a) the water was actually fairly nasty and used before we arrived or b) the chemicals were unbalanced and once the jets were turned on it created the foam. Either way, I am OK with getting stuck holding the bag and providing some of my security deposit to pay for the hot tub cleaning. I just take issue with the fact that Robin will not return the rest of my deposit over a month later and will not respond to any of my communications!
I would not rent this cabin again. VRBO users beware of owners who do not communicate well and make sure to ALWAYS sign a rental agreement. Make sure it states what the security deposit can be used for along with when it will be returned to you. If not you are vulnerable to the owner's whims.
