Guestbook comments from the manager

We really enjoyed our stay in your cabin and had the perfect fall weather. You certainly have thought of even the smallest detail. I don't think I've ever stayed in a rental that was so well-appointed.

I am already planning a fall stay next year, with my husband, when our youngest (hopefully) heads off to college.

Thanks, Lyn

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was perfect, the location was perfect, absolutely remarkable! If I had to complain about something it would be the lighting downstairs where the bedrooms are. The lighting was dim throughout. However first thing in the morning if all the shades are open upstairs the natural lighting was amazing! Oh and the fireplace was the best!!!!

Comfortable, quiet, mountain adventures nearby

  • 5 of 5

We loved the private location of this cabin in the woods just up the hill from the lake, but close to Tahoe City for the stores and restaurants. The cabin itself has great beds and linens, and the kitchen is very will stocked. The great room upstairs is open and comfortable, so we all had room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable patio furniture on the deck. The cabin was spotless and very well appointed. There were hiking books and beach chairs. We had a picnic at the beach park and played volleyball and bocce ball. They let us store our kayaks for the week at the beach park. We took our mountain bikes on the dirt trails which go though a beautiful area and down to Tahoe City. The biking or hiking trails are just right behind the cabin, so it was so convenient and enjoyable. We are already planning our return visit!

Perfect for our family trip

  • 5 of 5

Loved everything about our experience with Bear Cub cabin. The house was comfortable, clean, and had plentiful amenities like extra towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. Appreciated the comfortable mattress in the master bedroom, comfortable living space, large screen tv, and nice deck. The hot tub under the stars was amazing. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, that was also close enough to Tahoe City that we had pizza delivered on a lazy night in. We also enjoyed playing bocce at Tahoe beach park which is a short drive away, and dining at nearby Sunnyside Restaurant afterward. Best of all was working with owner, Pam, who was responsive and helpful. All instructions for getting to and staying in the cabin were provided efficiently and clearly. Thank you!

Quaint Comfy Cabin with Everything You Need

  • 4 of 5

Family and I enjoyed this home. We generally stay in Tahoe homes that are are large, very modern, and not so comfortable. If you are looking to relax and get some R&R then this is the home. Nestled high above Tahoe in a nice quiet neighborhood, this home is perfect for families of six. There is a wonderful trail one block up to walk your dog, get some exercise, and enjoy the beauty of the Sierras. A short drive down the hill takes you to Sunnyside, Tahoe Beach Park (home has membership), and Homewood a few miles South to drop in the boat and enjoy Lake Tahoe. The home itself has everything you need to cook, bbq, or just sit on one of the comfy couches and enjoy a movie. All the bedrooms are downstairs which makes for restful sleep as its cooler. Beds are comfortable and the two bathrooms very practical. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this home. Pam, the owner, will make sure you have everything and is just a phone call away.
