This is one of the best properties on the beach with a full kitchen. Fantastic views of the ocean, BVI and St. John. Walk from your living room to patio and you are right on the beach to go to the Caribbean or the pool just 20' away! Restaurant on site at Sapphire Village just up the hill or visit Red Hook for night life, shopping, restaurants, or take the ferry to St. John, all 5 minutes away. If water sports is your selected activity the marina is just less than a two min walk and book a fishing or water tour excursions OR just relax on the beach or by the pool, snorkeling (reef right in the bay) equipment and other equipment available. Enjoy and relax right on the the beach!

It is as beautiful as it appears

Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. We had such a wonderful time...I can't even put it all into words. Your condo is so loved. The work you have done shows how much you care about it.

We love your kitchen. The unique cabinets, granite counter, new appliances etc. all contribute to an outstanding visit. Everything ran as it should and there were 2 hair dryers :) I only used one twice. I found that with the salt water, pool and sun it was easier to just let it go.

We enjoyed coffee and books on the patio in the morning and the evenings were so incredible. Watching the lights coming on in Cruz Bay and seeing the unreal color of the water less than 100 steps from the door...priceless. My son and I snorkeled twice for hours in bay. On our last snorkel he touched his first sea turtle and we swam with 3 squid. What fun!

We spent a day on Jost Van Dyke enjoying White Beach, the Soggy Dollar and Foxy's and an afternoon on St. John shopping. Our favorite thing to do had to be the scuba diving with the Red Hook Divers. We can't say enough about their business. They are so careful, helpful and knowledgeable. We actually made 6 dives! Our son saw his first sharks, identified some unusual fish and learned a lot about soft corals. It will be a birthday he will never forget. If anyone should ever ask for advise about diving you can feel confident giving a recommendation to the Red Hook Dive Shop.

The security team did a good job of keeping the grounds secure. We felt very safe on the property. Every day crews were working to update and care for the property. Everything worked and ran as it should.

Unfortunately it has been dry and the plants and bushes are not leafing out. This leaves the air conditioning units exposed by the parking lot. When things grow up they will be less noticeable.

Our favorite restaurants were Molly Malone's, Fungi and the Banana Cabana on the property makes a great burger. We did not have success at the Grapevine Restaurant on the property.

Steve and Sherri have a very neat and clean property. Their caretaker is outstanding. He even drove us to the airport when we left early in the morning.

Our stay at this property was perfect.

Owner's Response: The scuba family made the most of their vacation and we try to assist all of our guest with information to have a great time. We take as much pride in our condo and sharing it as we do our home!

good place to stay

in the description of this property, the troyers were very honest and accurate in their description. the unit had every pot, pan glass and dish needed to make your own dinners, along with an electric b-b-q grill out side. the unit is clean and well appointed. since it is a ground floor unit, it is has easy access to the beach and pool, this is definately a plus. there is now a beach bar down on the beach, not far from the unit, good food and good drinks reasonably priced. i only have two complaints, one was the very poor tv reception in the unit, and the second was the poor sealing wooden front door that let in many a mosquito. so if you rent this place, take plenty of bug repellant, cutter worked the best for us, and enjoy your time there.

Owner's Response: We always enjoy when guest enjoy their stay on the beach. The TV is a satellite TV with the reception provided by the Condo Association. Like any satellite reception it can be disrupted by several variables beyond anyone's control. The island does not "worry" much how well doors and window seal the weather from the outside, it is pretty much the same temperature year round day and night. Insects are a "problem" in the tropics which we let people know about when they inquire about our condo. It is a small price to pay to visit such a beautiful island!

The property was good.

The beach was rocky and you couldn't swim right in front of the condo. You had to walk in front of the buildings next door. It wasn't a long walk, but still it wasn't 10 feet away from the door. You have to rent a car and the cab from the Red Hook ferry dock cost three of s $20 to go one mile! There is no walking on the road! Too narrow and windy and no sidewalks.

Owner's Response: The Caribbean water is about 30-40' from the rear door and is usually where people snorkel......some people do swim there, but if you are looking for a sandy bottom you have to walk about 80-100' down the beach where lounge are available at no cost to guests. The swimming pool is about 20-30' from the rear of the patio. If you plan to go several places renting a car is the best choice. The taxi's charge a standard rate from different places to your destination which is same as stateside. We have seen people walking the one mile from Red Hook, but have never done it ourselves.....the road is as described and we always rent a car. We had heard from the guest while they were there 3 days and they said they were having a great time.

Great Vacation

We rented this condo for our first visit to the USVI. We were budget minded and not expecting nor wanting the resort/hotel atmosphere. The condo was exactly as we expected and we enjoyed a fabulous vacation! We enjoyed making our own breakfast and eating on the patio every morning as well as being so close to the ocean. We snorkeled at Sapphire Beach every day and after enjoying several beaches, it was one of the best. Steve was very responsive to all of my questions/requests. I would rent this condo again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bathroom could use a minor update and more towels/blankets would be good. That said, we could have asked from them and received them during our stay so it's not really a negative. I'm so happy, our family created some amazing memories on this trip! Thanks a million Steve!

Owner's Response: We really enjoy when guests have a great time! We provide the same amount of towels to all guest (same as a hotel) and have not heard there were not enough. There are two blankets and throws in the closet, which has usually been sufficient when you are in 75-80 degree weather. Since we are not on island we are always available if we are contacted to try and meet guests needs. We put I new shower tile this past year....not sure what needs to be updated but will contact guest......the salt air is not good on materials in the Caribbean.

Breathtaking view....relax ....reconnect...

Wow! What a beautiful view we had from this property. This was our first vacation with a VRBO and it was a good one; all of our questions were answered in a timely manner,all the pictures on the site were accurate (although I don't believe pictures can do this view justice), the rooms and patio were clean and comfortable and since we had a kitchen we were able to enjoy several meals right on the beach! The only bad thing was the pool area (bar-snack shack) was under construction and or run down. One of our favorite things to do is snorkel and on the clear days it was great right there on Sapphire Beach!

A little bit of Heaven!

I have travel to St. Thomas and the Caribbean numerous times and this has to be the best place I've stayed! Two steps from the large patio and your toes are in the sand.

We spent so many hours on the patio enjoying the beautiful sunrise over St. John drinking our coffee. Steve was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to be back and already planning the trip! Thank you Steve. I'll be in touch! Wendy
