What makes this apartment unique

The Guest House on Newport Avenue has two apartments, each floor can be rented separately or rent them together for larger gatherings--up to 18. It's great to all be under one roof, without being on top of one another--the three separate spaces offer privacy when you need it. And best of all--the little piece of nature outside the back door. The garden is private & peaceful--perfect place to decompress, relax and enjoy.

Great Wedding Weekend

Ourselves and two couples spent four nights at the guest house on Newport while visiting for a wedding. Great house and location to enjoy the neighborhood loaded with shops and restaurants, and close to the red line for trips downtown. Couldn't ask for better accommodations, and Teri was terrific to deal with answering any questions. Would give more than 5 stars if we could. Highly recommend a stay here. Randy

Perfect location! Very comfortable home with lots of charm. Would highly recommend!

Our group consisted of three couples and this home was a perfect size for our group. We just loved the location. The home is situated in the middle of to two different "L" train lines that are both in walking distance. We used both lines during our stay, very convenient, easy to get into downtown Chicago. The reason we were visiting the area was to see a concert being held at Wrigley Field and that was in walking distance as well. Another big plus. The neighborhood has restaurants, shops, and grocery stores which we really appreciated. The house is decorated with beautiful and unique art work that we enjoyed looking at during our stay. We had some great weather while we were there so we took advantage of the wonderful back patio area with the beautiful landscaping. And Teri was a real pleasure to work with, she was very attentive. She made the whole process stress free. Thanks Teri!

Owner's Response: It sure 'IS' nice to be able to walk to everything--especially Wrigley Field. Nothing worse than the traffic on a game or concert night--no one wants to deal with that! Very cool and clean property that was more than accommodating

We rented this house with 5 guys for a weekend trip to Chicago and we could not have been happier. The house was nice and clean and accommodated all of our needs. The area of town it is located in is also awesome, with many cool bars and restaurants within walking distance. If I ever come back to Chicago with a large group again I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of it all.

We gathered here from Ohio, Colorado, bogota Colombia and Australia.

Ages 22-65.

The house is comfortable and very clean. The sheets and beds are super comfortable.

Teri was extremely accommodating allowing us to check in and out early. It helped us out so much. She was also on the ball with communicating.

Wrigley field is down the street as well as lots of

restaurants and bars. The area is very safe.

The kitchen is well equipped. You could really cook anything here. Outdoor area is also well equipped with seating and a BBQ. The living room has

We felt like we were at home in this beautiful house.

Though you may be tempted to never leave the neighborhood, it would be a shame to miss out on all the city has to offer! Jump on either a Brown or Red Line train--either will take you direct to downtown and all of Chicago's attractions!

Or if you're up to the challenge, walk or ride along the spectacular lakefront to downtown. Divvy Bikes are available in the neighborhood and there is really no better way to really see this amazing city! Ride alongside the beautiful boat filled harbors, and through the lush and colorful gardens of Lincoln Park and while you’re there, catch a glimpse of some of the animals at the zoo. And though it’s only a four mile ride, you may enjoy a little energy break at one of the three beach side bistro's along the way! Once downtown, you can park the bike at any of hundreds of stations throughout the city.
