This is the ideal accommodation for a family or group of friends looking for a good quality holiday home offering all sorts of facilities at a good location. It is situated by Ondarreta Beach, in a very lively neighbourhood where it is possible to find all kind of services, cafeterias and just 10 minutes away from the city centre.
Casa Aranzazu is an 80 square metres vacation home which has been recently refurbished from top to bottom. The main daytime area is on the ground floor and it includes a large open plan lounge-dining room with kitchenette. It is a modern and functional space full of light, thanks to the two big windows and a glass door with direct access to a large terrace. There is a large sofa and a comfortable armchair in the lounge while we find a modern style table and chairs in the dining area for you to enjoy delicious meals while in San Sebastian. The kitchenette, situated next to the dining area, is fully equipped with top of the range electric appliances, complete kitchenware and a useful breakfast bar. The stairs to the upper floor are situated by the lounge.
Casa Aranzazu offers two double bedrooms on the second floor. The main bedroom has a queen size bed while the second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms are spacious and full of light, and they share a modern bathroom equipped with a shower cubicle. There is a second sitting room with a sofa-bed and a second totally equipped bathroom in the basement. This area is perfect for the youngest members of the group as it has a medium-low ceiling.

Great house in a very cool part of San Sebastian, the house itself is fantastic in a private street with great local amenities including restaurants and shops. Nearby supermarket as well as butchers etc. everything you need. There is a bar directly opposite that has a great selection of food as ell as friendly service, can get quite noisy though especially during the weekend, this didn't bother us at all. There is also a playground a lot of children turn up to play football in the afternoon. Checkin was overall ok though you have to go the other side of town to get the keys. We did have an issue with the wifi and they had someone round in about 15 minutes which was pretty impressive.

Located to the West of the city, the Antiguo is one of the most beautiful and genuine neighbourhoods in San Sebastian. This is a very quiet and tranquil area at night-time. The long promenade with pretty gardens along the Ondarreta Beach is a landmark here. At the end of this walk we find the famous sculpture of Eduardo Chillida, the Peine del Viento (Wind’s comb), one of San Sebastian’s symbols. The westernmost spot of this beach is marked as the starting point to the climb of the Igeldo Mountain. From here you can get the funicular to the Igeldo amusement park, or take the road to the Igeldo neighbourhood. The Miramar Palace is situated at the easternmost point of the Ondarreta Beach and it appears as a natural frontier between the Antiguo, Aiete and the Centre neighbourhoods. This palace and its surrounding gardens facing the bay, are like a banner for the city as it was here where the former Royal Family used to spend their summer holidays at the beginning of the 20th Century. Thanks to these prestigious visitors San Sebastian became a very fashionable city among the elite tourism. Nowadays, the Miramar Palace houses the High School of Music of San Sebastian. You will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the bay from here. Another important and lively spot in the Antiguo neighbourhood is the Matia Street. There are both modern supermarkets as well as traditional shops in this area. Once a month, a street market of typical products is set up here too. As in other parts of the city, there are several well-known pintxo bars along this street. A recently built residential area called Benta Berri is found at the end of the Matia Street. It is a quiet area where young families have set up their homes among parks and all sort of shops. The Basque Country University Campus is also located here. Thanks to a modern and wide network of public transport, the Antiguo is very well connected to the other city neighbourhoods.
