Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5)
The Walton family has lived on this 200 acre property for three generations and have enjoyed the beautiful views and endless outdoor activities that life on the mountain provides. We are passionate about sharing the beauty of our property with others who wish to experience the beautiful Manitou foothills and look to provide quaint comfortable accommodations for any and all looking to explore the Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs area.

Why Owner chose Manitou Springs
Our property provides a unique experience to those looking to visit the area due to its location on private property. This gives our guests plenty of privacy and security while also being located just minutes away from downtown Manitou Springs. Both our Lodge and Cottage provide a feeling of being secluded in the mountains of Manitou Springs allowing for our guests to spend their days down in the city, and when that becomes too much, they have the option to retreat back up the hill to the privacy and quiet of the foothills.

Perfect location and home
We had a great stay and loved our time - thanks for making it so special.
The property was in a good location for getting around. Really enjoyed the little town of Manitou while we were there. People were nice and friendly.
Great place to stay, second year in a row and plan on coming back next year.
This charming. Cottage was just what we needed for our short visit to the area. Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was a definite plus!
It was amazing
Secluded relaxing place, close to everything & private hot tub...what else do you need?
This is a great little place. We loved it. My mom who went with us, uses a walker to get around. This place is awesome for her because it had one very small step down to get in and plenty of room inside for her to move around, very comfortable and safe. Its very spacious, cute, pretty clean and lots of place for kids and adults to explore the mountain trails. They are dog friendly! Our little fur baby loved getting out walking the trails with us. This place is really close to town but on a lot of private land so it feels out of the way. Close to so many attractions, the cliff dwellings, Garden of the Gods park, Rudy’s BBQ restaurant, downtown Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, the Ghost Town Museum, Starbucks, a grocery store and so much more. Everything you need just within reach but at the end of the day you still get to relax in a fairly private, cozy, comfortable, little cottage and sit in the private hot-tub to enjoy the stars. Just about everything you need was provided to make homecooked meals, just bring your own food and you are set. (There was even a crockpot, nice touch!) plenty of outdoor seating for enjoying a meal outdoors on the patio.
We loved the two bedroom set up, 1 room with large bed, 2nd room with double and twin. This worked really nice for the 3 of us. I just can’t say how pleased we were with the ease of the whole process and the joy of such a nice little cottage. We will surely be back!
On 200 acres just above Historic (and newly refurbished) Manitou Springs, a haven for shopping, hiking, and leisure activities. Our property adjoins directly with Pike National Forest, making access to hiking and biking trails. Our 200 acres are also home to what is left of the Midland Railroad! Just a short hike from the front door can take you back in time through the tunnels in which the gold mining trains ran through in order to transport and retrieve gold from the Cripple Creek gold rush.
In addition to all the activities in Manitou Springs, There are also Ziplines on the 200 acre property operated by Adventures Out West, a company that prides itself on bringing adrenaline pumping fun, educational and beautiful tours, and good old Wild west fun to all those who visit the Springs.
