Lovely apartment with all comforts in the heart of the historical center, a short walk from the main attractions of the city.
Located on the second floor of a characteristic building of Trastevere, the apartment is tastefully decorated in modern style. It consists of a living room with a comfortable sofa bed, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a comfortable bathtub. The apartment has everything you need for your comfort: air conditioning, WiFi, linen, coffee maker, cooking utensils, soap and shampoo.

This apartment was perfect for us. We arrived by train from the port and walked about 5 mins to get to the apartment. there is also a tram that stops in front that takes you across the river. The neighborhood was great. Very lively in the evenings with a lot of great restaurants. Every morning, we walked across the street to a small cafe and had 2 cappuccinos and 2 pastries for less than 4 euros. Overall, the apartment was comfy. My only complaint is that the couch needs to be replaced. We would definitely stay there again.
We found the apartment very comfortable for what we wanted. It would have been helpful to have a telephone.
I don't think it is the best apartment for anyone who wants to spend a lot of time seeing the sites of Rome with friends. It is a bot ut of the way but perfect if you are up for using transit. Great access to anywhere in the city using the tram and bus.
My husband, son and I stayed in this apartment for 3 night 4 days. It is conveniently located to get to Piazza Venezia which is walking distance to the Colosseum. The tram stops right in front of the apartment. The apartment is not walking distance from the Spanish Steps, Colloseum nor Vatican . It is quiet far as it will take you at least 30 mins or so, but you can take the tram to get to Piazza Venezia and walk from there. So the site is misinforming. There is no coffee maker, however there was espresso maker ( two different things ) another misinformation from the web site. It can be loud outside even with the window close but after a while we got used to the noises, weather garbage being picked up, tram and buses. The apartment was full of unnecessary personal belongings i.e, shelves full of old shoes, cabinet in the bathroom full of somebody's else toiletries ( one can appreciate if there was extra shelves to put toiletries especially if more than 2 persons will be renting). Fire place area was full of knick-knacks We ended up using the top of the washer as a storage for our toiletries. There was a small TV ( which was more likely a computer monitor as a suppose to a TV monitor. Internet sucks, we keep getting hacked due to internet was not secured. We ended up using 3G data from our cellphone. The bed room, closet had dirty pillows stored in it. The feel of the apartment as if somebody else was leaving in there but never cleaned up. We did not bother calling the manager due to our short stay, we figured that we had only 4 days so we did not care about TV or internet. On a positive note, we love the location of the apartment and the look inside and would not mind going back as long as they acknowledge all the stuff mentioned above. I'm hoping the managing team will take a moment to clean the apartment so it will be free from all clutter that are not necessary. Remember, you are hosting people who live in suite cases and need space to store their belongings especially if they are staying a week or longer. Bernardo was very nice. I also appreciate that the company were able to arrange our transportation from the airport. Daniel was very nice and I ended up calling him to take us back to the airport.
When we arrived at the appartment was Raffaelle waiting for us to let is in. He explained everything and he was very helpfull. The appartment is just the way the foto's showed. It was clean en well equiped and very cosy. The tram stops just in front of the appartement. So in the morning we took the tram to piazza Veneto. In 10 minutes we were in the centre of Rome. And after a day exploring Rome we stopped on our way home in Trastevere to get a drink in one of the cafe' s you have there. Our favourite is bar Samovar. Nice place to be and a very kind waitres. For dinner is trastevere also great. We ate at il mano di pasta. Al the locals go there. We had a real pleasent stay in this appartment. Close to the center of Rome, close to Trastevere but nice and quiet close to the real romain live! We certainly come back!
After spending two weeks is the question wether you would recommend this apartment to your friends. 'The plain and honest answer is 'No'. The size is beautiful (for two persons, certainly not for four), public transport to the citycentre is at your doorstep, shops are rather nearby. But the apartment is full of clutter (better, leftovers) from the owner. There is hardly any place to your own belongings. For example: in the kitchen there is a cupboard full of old shoes and there is no space to store your own purchases. The bench and the other furniture is probably bought at a flea market, at least they are old, broken and unpleasant to sit on.
We stayed two weeks in the apartment, but there was only one clean towels and sheets set. There is a washing machine, but not a manual how to use it.
In the description of the apartment there is a coffee machine, but it is an espressomachine fort wo persons (certainly not for four). The living room is filled with old books, there is a stack of vinyl records, a cupboard filled with keys, etc.
By the way: in other comments there is a discussion on distances, which are in the description of the apartment. These are the distances in Googlemaps for public transport and not for walking.
The service of Rafaël was great! The apartment would also be great without the mess of the owner, with good furniture and appropriate kitchen utensils.
Nice, clean, conveniently located apartment. Easy to get to the heart of Rome from this comfortable apartment, it was great to take the tram directly in front of the building. The tram ends just blocks away from the Colosseum. Located next to markets and shops, the owners of the apartment were also easy to work with, and they were great. We got our deposit back no problem. They provided everything needed, e.g. towels, and the place even had a washing machine. This wonderful space made our vacation great. Wifi stinks, but everything else was lovely.
While Rome seduces with its extraordinary monuments, Trastevere captures the traveler's heart. It is the most authentic and characteristic District within the Historic Center, the perfect place to glimpse the old world while enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. Often described as Bohemian, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to the old, narrow, winding, cobblestone streets. Homes decorated with flower boxes and clinging ivy interlace with coffee bars, restaurants, and one-of-a-kind boutiques.
The apartment is located in one of those small streets, next to the river and few meters away from the Tiberina Island. Thanks to its strategic location, you can reach within walking distance many astonishing places such as Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Imperial Forum, the Coliseum and the Spanish Steps. Following the river Tiber for 15 minutes you may reach the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Passing through this magical place, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step.
