At the feet of the 'Baux de Provence', in a small quiet village, Sigrid and Robert offer a guest room in the 17th century part of this typical Provencal villa, restored according to the traditions. Around the mas is a big garden, an orchard and a beautiful 20 meters long stone swimming pool.
Unit 1 is 26 m² wide, tastefully decorated and cooled by a huge fan. It has a queen size bed (made of 2 single beds that can be split), fireplace, library, TV and video. There is a nice bathroom in marble stone with a large shower, and private stairs leading to a private patio full of flowers.
Unit 2 is 32 m² wide, originally decorated and cooled by two fans. It also has a splitable queen size bed, TV and video. The bathroom is in Egyptian marble stone with a large shower. The unit has a 14 m² covered (and furnished) terrace overlooking the garden.
The large Breakfast is made with our own kitchen garden products.

We had a delightful and relaxing 11 days in this beautiful tranquil setting with its restored farmhouse amidst landscaped gardens. We stayed in the Patio apartment, with its neat bathroom. It is very well placed to enable visits to a wide range of attractions in this part of Provence - including the beach in the Camargue. The daily breakfasts provided by Sigrid were delicious [ complete with fresh fruit salad and home made jams] and she was very helpful in recommending local places to see and eat.
The only quibble was the rather basic level of the facilities in the semi-open kitchen.
Gorgeous and Private
From the moment we entered the gate, Sigrid made us feel at home with her warm-hearted welcoming and attentiveness to our needs. We felt like we were in heaven. The garden was gorgeously rich and the pool divine. I really mean it. We were transported into peace and tranquility. The room was perfect with its simple elegance, and the breakfast of fruits, yogurt, juice, pastry, and of course a fresh baguette with home-made jams was a delight. The nearby village, Mausanne-les-Alpilles, was close enough to walk to and the shops for fruits, vegetables, wine, meats and fish were extraordinary. The food in Provence is touched by the gods. Well, as you can tell, we Loved our stay
Relax and enjoy
Good location for many excursions in the Provence and a great place to come back to each day or just to hang around and relax. Big garden, beautiful pool, just two rooms rented out so it offers a lot of privacy. After many meals in one of the many good restaurants in the area we also enjoyed the amenities of the outdoor kitchen to do our own cooking. The heart of the picturesque village and all the shops you need is only a short walk away.
Rooms are very big and homely.
Für sie auch 5 Sterne, mehr kann man lieder nicht geben.!!!
Glorious spot, wonderful hospitality
We really enjoyed our time in Paradou as Sigrid ensured it was a very memorable and special holiday. The beautiful pool and completely charming atmosphere made for a wonderfully relaxing stay.
Thank you for this nice rewiev, pêrhaps we will have the pleasure to see you again an other year, kindly regards Sigrid
Wonderfully relaxed week in pleasant surroundings
We spent a week at Sigrid's place - wish it had been two!
The house and garden are beautiful, the pool is wonderful, long and clean, and with six sets of steps there is always one close to your sun lounger.
Sigrid is friendly and helpful, with suggestions of places to go and things to see.
The outdoor kitchen is great. With Sigrid's lovely breakfasts waiting for you in your fridge, a coffee machine, cooker and bbq in the outdoor kitchen, you have the best of both worlds B&B and self-catering....fresh pastries and croissants when you decide to get up and then freedom to nibble for the rest of the day. Sigrid was happy to book restaurants for us in the evenings.
There is plenty to see and do in the area - we went for walks in the hills, visited hill towns, castles and old quarries, went to Arles a few times to soak in the atmosphere and try the local cuisine. We even jumped on Sigrid's bicycles and went for a spin through the local village and beyond.
We usually got back in the afternoon for a swim and a dose by the pool to the sound of cicadas and the distant church bells in the village. Perfect change of scene - very calm and relaxed.
A wonderful week; we will return!
Yes you can !! Any time you want my cat and I will welcome you and your family. It was a really pleasure to have you at home .I wish you a nice jump in the (not so fare) autumn. Amicalement Sigrid and Plume
We are just 400 meters from the church of Le Paradou on a quiet private little road, less than 4 kilometers from the famous 'citadelle des Baux-de-Provence'.
