Amazing

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was absolutely magnificent, it provided everything needed to be able to cook, as well as be entertained. Rhonda was really helpful when it came to providing information as to how to get to the cabin. Also having everything at the cabin (wifi password, hot tub instructions, etc.) was very useful. This was our first time staying at a rental cabin and it could not have gone more smoothly or been any more simpler. overall, if I visit Blue Ridge again I wouldn't hesitate to book this cabin another time.

Cozy and Comfortable...

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Rhonda's cabin for 5 days to celebrate Father's Day weekend and the cabin was so amazing and cozy and has everything we needed for a family of 7 (5 kids). The cabin was clean and well kept and Rhonda communicated with us before and after our trip. The basement was awesome for our kids and had tons of things for them to enjoy. The cabin was everything we expected and more, we will definitely be back for

another family vacation there.

Family Vacation New Year's 2016

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great stay at Rhonda's cabin. Prior to our stay, Rhonda emailed me and let me know all of the details i'd need for my stay. The directions to the cabin were spot on. The cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac a couple miles from the main road. The roads leading up to the cabin were all paved, which was nice. Rhonda gave us the code to get into the cabin, which was great because we did not have to stop off anywhere to get keys.

The cabin was as advertised in the pictures. Everything was spotless and in perfect working order. The main floor has a wrap around porch with a grill and hot tub. Inside is the kitchen, living room (with flat screen TV), dining area, private bedroom with queen bed, and a full bathroom. The kitchen was very functional and well stocked. We at all of our meals during our 4 night stay at the cabin. The cabin had plenty of pots and pans, silverware, a dishwasher, and just about every small appliance you can think of. The main level had a very large dining table which was able to accommodate our entire group. The living room had incredibly comfortable couches and a fireplace that we used just about every night. The patio on the main level is screened and has a large hot tub, which we also used every day on our stay.

The upper level is a very large loft with a king bed, huge walk-in closet, and full bathroom. The loft has a private patio, which has a wonderful view. The lower level has a full bath, a room with 4 twin beds (2 bunks), a game room with a foosball table and a pool table that also converts to a ping pong table, a separate room with a TV and a pull-out couch. There were also plenty of board games in the game room. We had several kids with us on our stay, and they were content to spend pretty much the entire day in the lower level. The lower level also has a large laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The cabin had wifi which worked well (the password was left on a note on the refrigerator, with other details).

I can't really speak much of the surrounding area, because we only left the cabin to make quick trips down to the super walmart, which was about a 10 minute drive (most of the drive was getting down the mountain). I had wanted to make it to downtown Blue Ridge (which is likewise a 10 minute drive), but never made it over there. I'm a beer fan, and had hoped to make it to a local craft brewery in town, but regretfully did not (I only knew the brewery exist

beautiful cabin and great customer service

  • 5 of 5

This was the second time I've stayed at this property. It is beautiful and well maintained. The owner has made it a home not a rental keeping it up to date and well maintained. The person who manages it is amazing too. She over-nighted photos that got left behind and called to make sure I got them.

A satisfied renter.

Great cabin

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about the cabin. It was spacious, clean, very well kept, and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had master sinks. It would have been nice to have an extra roll of paper towel in the kitchen and extra rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms. Other than that, It was really great. Hope to go back.
