3 bedrooms, a bathroom, living/eating area, kitchen and veranda
Cedarwood Lodge faces south overlooking nothing but a small beautiful valley with a charming brook that runs down to the sea. Deep in the Pembrokeshire National Park, Cedarwood Lodge has been providing happy memories for 40 years.
Suitable for young families, chilled out couples, walkers, diving or fishing enthusiasts, the property consists of 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, living/eating area, kitchen and a large south facing veranda with plenty of room to relax or eat out on.
Voted by National Geographic as the second best coastal destination in the world the Pembrokeshire coastline offers everything from the traditional British seaside at Tenby and Saundersfoot, to rocky coves and inlets at places like Marloes and St.Brides, to possibly the finest beach in the UK, Barfundle Bay, which looks like a tropical paradise.
The nearest beach, Broad Haven, offers a broad expanse of sand with rockpools at one end and a low tide avenue to Little Haven at the other. The village has a small array of shops and restaurants and a handful of pubs. Most day to day requirements are catered for here. A 10 minute drive to Haverfordwest allows access to a very large Tesco and Morrisons.

Cabin was great for a family, lovely quiet location and under a mile to the beach!
Cabin was great, enough room for a family of 6, well equipped, friendly and quiet site, only downside was that because it was a privately owned cabin we had to pay for wifi but couldn't connect to it in the cabin as it's missing a wifi receiver, but other than that I was well happy with my week at timber hill and Mr Cookes cabin..
Fabulous base for exploring Pembrokeshire
We are a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lodge. We found it to be really clean and a great base for exploring. It didn't bother us that we had to take towels and bedding - if this keeps costs down then quite right. The lodge is well equipped with everything else you could need including some games for the kids and tricky jigsaws! The lodge was full of information about the local area and the site itself. The lodge is also in the "front row" if you like and only looks onto beautiful hillside and not other lodges. I would highly recommend the lodge to anyone wanting to explore Pembrokeshire and its beautiful beaches, places and history.
First self catering where we have had to take our own bedding, towels, tea towels, etc etc. Cleaning was superficial and setting on immersion heater was so high it was easy to get scalded within seconds of tap running. Information not well organised, took us until half way through the week to realise that any information was kept in the laundry room???? and the people who were there before us had left a pair of pyjamas which were dumped outside by the cleaners on the terrace and there to remain until we removed them. On the plus side beautiful clean and isolated beaches and our dog was happy
Feedback from guests is always welcome. The lodge is a self-catering holiday home where you bring your own bedding and towels. Cleaning is usually outstanding, and we have received many compliments on how good it is, this being the first negative comment I have ever received. Naturally disappointed this guest had a different experience and it has been raised with the contractors.
The immersion heater is new this year and is adjustable. The information manual in the lodge advises of the potential high heat output.
Extra information about the local area is indeed available at the site laundry and fortunately at most tourist sites throughout the county including pubs, restaurants, tourist information office, tourist attractions etc.
Perfect other world
Cedar lodge is in a beautifully-planted valley-side position overlooking a mown field and a tree-filled valley. At the end of the valley is Broadhaven beach. It couldn't be better.
super Lage schöner Ausblick schlechtes Wetter
Leider war das Wetter schlecht aber sonst sehr kuschlig dort. Der Ausblick und das Meer ist der Hammer.
