We stayed in Bells cottage for a week. Evi and Rolf are wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable!
Comfortable and well equipped
Comfortable in a private garden setting. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Evi and Rolf.
3 Wonderful Weeks
I arrived at Bells Cottage the last of March. I had flown into Shannon, the drive to Killorglin was fine despite the rain.......but, my GPS... just couldn’t deal with the many road improvements and detours within the village. I was so lost. I parked in front of Burkes Butchers, went into ask for directions. An incredibly gracious lovely woman insisted (after she paid for her lamb chops) that I follow her, she’d show me the way. Which she did, after handing me off to a friend who knew a better way to get to the cottage. To say I was a tad frazzled would be an understatement. Evi and Rolf were there to meet me....... Took me grocery shopping, made sure all was well. Checked in the next day. I felt oh so at home.
I was there a week before my husband joined me. He was amazed and pleased that I had found this perfect little cottage for our first visit to Ireland. The next two weeks we explored all of the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Merry, Wild Atlantic Way, Cliffs of Mohr.......and so much more. Always returning each night to our little ‘home’.
The cottage. Almost too difficult to describe, it’s that perfect. Fireplace. Well appointed kitchen. Beds that are too comfortable to leave. So cozy.
Lovely neighbors.....the sheep, deer, cows and a couple donkeys down the road. So quiet, so peaceful. And it was lamb time! Babies galore!
What can I say about Evi and Rolf. They are THE MOST perfect hosts. Their many suggestions were spot on. The Milltown farmers market was a highlight. Walking the Rossbeigh Beach and waiting for the sunset......unreal.
Our last night....invited to their beautiful home on the lake. What a memorable evening. We simply can not thank them enough. They ooze graciousness.
Would we, will we return? ABSOLUTELY!
Evi and Rolf......thank you. I promise not to feed the deer next time.
Love to you both.

You were lovely guests and we do hope to see you again some time in the future.

Thanks a lot.
Bell's Cottage, County Kerry
Bell's cottage is a beautiful and charming hideaway with friendly hosts Evi and Rolf who visited several times to ensure all is well. During our stay, we experienced glorious sunshine and gale force winds on the wild Atlantic way. The cottage is perfectly located to explore the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula. We also loved the wildlife in the gardens. Highly recommended.
Thanks a lot for your positive review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Bells Cottage and our beloved area and this despite storm Callum visiting you.
Thank you also for leaving Bells Cottage so spotless.
